All Josh Hartnett needs is his fists to kick some serious butt in the newest teaser for "Bunraku."
Who needs set-up for a movie when a minute-long video clip can just show Hartnett beating up on baddies left and right? Clearly his character, The Drifter, has some anger issues to deal with. "Bunraku" first premiered as an official selection during Midnight Madness at 2010's Toronto International Film Festival, and is slated to hit theaters on September 30. Though this trailer only shows off Hartnett's skills fighting his enemies, the movie does have a lot more to offer -- "It's not all about fighting," Woody Harrelson's character tells The Drifter, though he doesn't exactly agree.
You might've noticed a dip in the number of posts on MTV Movies Blog this week. That's because your friendly neighborhood editor (me) has been staying up too late for almost two straight weeks. "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" arrived in stores on 11/10/09 and the obsession has set in once more. I've had control over my "Call of Duty" demons for about a year now, but this new game in the series opened the floodgates anew. There's simply not enough time in the day for work and play, plus other necessary daily activities. My poor dog hasn't been walked in a fortnight (not really).
Chris Columbus may have left the "Harry Potter" series far behind, but he's clearly still hungry for a sprawling fantasy franchise. He's set to start filming "Percy Jackson", a big screen adaptation of Rick Riordan's "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series, and while he's lined up Logan Lerman to play the title role, he needs some Olympians.
