All Josh Hartnett needs is his fists to kick some serious butt in the newest teaser for "Bunraku."

Who needs set-up for a movie when a minute-long video clip can just show Hartnett beating up on baddies left and right? Clearly his character, The Drifter, has some anger issues to deal with. "Bunraku" first premiered as an official selection during Midnight Madness at 2010's Toronto International Film Festival, and is slated to hit theaters on September 30. Though this trailer only shows off Hartnett's skills fighting his enemies, the movie does have a lot more to offer -- "It's not all about fighting," Woody Harrelson's character tells The Drifter, though he doesn't exactly agree.

Kevin McKidd plays a god in "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief." He almost played a monster in "Harry Potter."

While chatting with MTV News about "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief," in which he plays Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, McKidd revealed that he was recruited for a meaty, villainous role in the "Harry Potter" franchise. A scheduling conflict prevented him from coming aboard.

"I was asked to be in the last two 'Harry Potter' films and I couldn't do it because I was busy filming 'Grey's Anatomy,' " McKidd said. "There was this mean, alpha-male werewolf character, who's like the big villain in the final film." Read More...

So what's all this about a "Call of Duty" movie? The New York Post's PopWrap has the story. Read More...

Uma ThurmanChris Columbus may have left the "Harry Potter" series far behind, but he's clearly still hungry for a sprawling fantasy franchise. He's set to start filming "Percy Jackson", a big screen adaptation of Rick Riordan's "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series, and while he's lined up Logan Lerman to play the title role, he needs some Olympians.

The chance to play a god has attracted some appealing names, because Variety , reports that Uma Thurman, Pierce Brosnan, and Sean Bean have joined the cast as Greek gods. Read More...
