Sunday's night's Golden Globe winners woke up on Monday and immediately began sharing their exploits from evening. Jason Reitman, had plenty to celebrate, considering he won a "Best Screenplay" trophy and "Up in the Air" got nominated in five other categories. He tweeted a shot with Mike Tyson from the ceremony, as did Eli Roth and Lake Bell side by side with their own entourage members.

In other tweets, Jodelle Ferland's Stephenie Meyer reading hasn't stopped with the "Twilight" series. She just finished "The Host" and wants to find more. Her "Eclipse" co-star Tinsel Korey, meanwhile, name-checked the "Boondocks" animated series as one her favorite ways to spend her free time. Check out those posts along with Jon Hurwitz's hopes for Conan O'Brien and what Ice-T and his wife look like when they play "Army of Two." It's all in Twitter-Wood for January 19, 2010. Read more...

Jeff Bridges' performance in "Crazy Heart" was good enough for the Golden Globes, and it was good enough for Rob Zombie as well, judging by his tweets. Kevin Smith, meanwhile, had a positively-used expletive to describe his own experience watching Edgar Wright's unreleased "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World."

Less giddy was producer Jeff Katz, who used a sports metaphor to express his reaction to news that Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have split. I'll let you parse and interpret that one, as his references to Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno went a little over my head. You can do so after the jump where you will also learn about Ice-T's recent "Modern Warfare 2" accomplishments, when Emmy Rossum will begin taking trapeze lessons and who found a stray peacock in their back yard. It's all retweeted in Twitter-Wood report for December 23, 2009. Read more...

For the record, I always link back to the source and cite everyone's tweets that I use from the Twitter-Wood follow list, including Edgar Wright. That's more than can be said for an edited version of an Edward Woodward memorial he wrote on his blog that showed up in edited form on the Times website, though, according to his posts today.

I do make a minimal number of edits, such as the f-bomb in Ice-T's Twitter Pic of the Day winner today, which was followed by yet another Brett Ratner/Michael Jackson pic. You need see that one for the giant wig along. Check it all out after the jump along with a "New Moon" cast shot from Gil Birmingham, Alyson Hannigan's musical Joss Whedon nostalgia and Jamie Campbell Bower's befuddlement over Justin Bieber. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 19, 2009. Read more...

Bill Hader-- Take this as a rumor I guess. Even though it really isn't. In an interview, "Saturday Night Live" castie Bill Hader revealed that he's read the script for the upcoming "MacGruber" movie. The verdict? It's a "hard-R" rating sort of affair. Sweet. (Vulture)

-- The lineup for the 2009 edition of the New York Film Festival has been revealed. Highlights include Pedro Almodovar's "Broken Embrace," Sundance winner "Precious" from director Lee Daniels, Michael Haneke's Cannes Palme d'Or winner "The White Ribbon" and Lars Von Trier's controversial art-horror flick "Antichrist." Jeff GoldblumUPDATE: Check out our Jeff Goldblum photo gallery for some great shots of the actor throughout his career!

The last 24 hours have been about a week long in Twitter-Wood. After two unplanned updates with reactions to Michael Jackson's death, I'm back with some regularly scheduled programming.

First off, the best news of the last day is that Jeff Goldblum is not dead. Kevin Spacey set the record straight on his Twitter account, and several others reacted as that rumor brushfire was extinguished. We've also got Tom Felton continuing his commentary behind the scenes at "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows," Mandy Moore looking for someone to play "Battletech" with, and much more after the click. 'Harold and Kumar'When "Harold & Kumar" star Kal Penn traded in his bong for a ranking post in the Barack Obama administration recently, most fans naturally concluded that the stoner comedy franchise conceived by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg had officially gone up in smoke. Penn may or may not be out, but that didn't stop Warner Bros from announcing today that "A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas" will hit theaters on November 5, 2010.

A title is all we have to go on for the moment, as the WB announcement made no mention of the film's plot or casting. As hard as it is to imagine anyone other than Penn and co-star John Cho -- who will be hard to miss as Hikaru Sulu in this weekend's "Star Trek" -- stepping into the shoes of the titular stoners, it's a distinct possibility given the public nature of Penn's new job in the White House Office of Public Liaison.
