Eliza DushkuThis was a banner year for Twitter-Wood Halloween costume photos. In fact, that's about all that anyone was posting in our feed last night, with Shaq showing up in drag, "Eclipse" actor BooBoo Stewart punching his mom and his co-star Jodelle Ferland getting suited up as Katniss Everdeen from Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games" books.

There were all kinds of couples costumes in the feed, too. Eliza Dushku played Lois Lane for Rick Fox, who went as Superman; Seth Green let his inner Harry Potter geek shine, and Ice-T got a little mad. Check out links to all the TwitPic posts after the jump.

Pastor Terry Jones has been on the receiving end of numerous complaints in Twitter-Wood today, thanks to Quran-burning event he's decided hold with his Florida-based church. Tweeters also have not overlooked the Monty Python member he happens to share a name with.

In "Twilight"-related posting, Peter Facinelli announced his return to costume fittings for "Breaking Dawn." Two of his cast-mates, meanwhile, were focused on Justin Chon's new hairstyle. You can find out what that looks like after the jump, as well as where "Transformers 3" is headed and how much fan mail "Weird Al" Yankovic has saved from the 1980s.

When Jodelle Ferland isn't driving "Twilight" fans into fits of jealousy with her reading of "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" on the set of "Eclipse," she's sharing all sorts of wacky things with her community of followers on Twitter. She loves that social network and engaging directly with her fans. It also gives her the opportunity as a "Twilight" fan to share her excitement over being involved with the series, often in entertaining and unusual ways.

Yesterday, she linked to the picture of a little project she's been working on. A "Twilight"-themed tribute to Easter, which was this past Sunday. She did nice work too; the egg Ferland painted is a capable reproduction of what you see on the cover of the third book, which we'll get to see the young actress in an adaptation of starting June 30. For now, enjoy her eggs-cellent work. Read More...

Jodelle Ferland, who plays Bree Tanner in "Eclipse," loves making artwork. We already knew that. This weekend, instead of drawing Taylor Lautner, however, she was decorating an Easter egg with the spirit of "Twilight." You can check that out after the jump along with a shot of her co-star Christian Serratos' trip to a Naval base.

Easter wasn't the only thing rocking Twitter-Wood over the weekend, unfortunately. That nasty earthquake scare shook everyone up as well, and I've retweeted some in-the-moment commentary from Ashton Kutcher and Omar Doom. Scope it out below and find out who caught the Yankees game and what Diablo Cody used to believe about "The Sound of Music" in Twitter-Wood for April 5th, 2010. Read More...

"Twilight" fans went crazy last week over the news that author Stephenie Meyer is releasing another chapter in her vampire romance series, a novella entitled "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner." Jodelle Ferland, who plays Bree in the upcoming "Eclipse," was on Canadian TV the other day talking about her experiences with the manuscript: she read it, and then she had to destroy it. For full details, check out Terri Schwartz's report on Hollywood Crush.

The big "Twilight" news this morning has nothing to do with the movies. A new book is coming out -- really, a 192-page novella -- focusing on the character of Bree Tanner, who will be played by "Silent Hill" star Jodelle Ferland in "Eclipse." This new work from Stephenie Meyer introduces all manner of possibilities. The story ostensibly ends in "Breaking Dawn," but this novella suggests that there's plenty more for fans to learn about the various supporting characters in the series. Over on Hollywood Crush, Terri Schwartz has a few suggestions concerning who'd she'd like to know more about. And then she puts the question to you all, in the form of a poll. So check it out!

The "Twilight" fan community is going nuts today, and with good cause. It was announced this morning that Stephenie Meyer is delivering another work of fiction set in her universe of sun-sparkling vampires and Wolf Packs. It's not a follow-up to "Breaking Dawn," the final book in the series, nor is it the unfinished "Breaking" companion novel "Midnight Sun."

Instead, Meyer will be releasing "The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner," a spin-off of "Eclipse," the third chapter in the series, which has a movie adaptation coming out on June 30. "Short Second Life," a 192-page novella, will arrive a few weeks earlier than the movie, on June 5. Fans will also be able to read the story in its entirety online for a limited time, from June 7 to July 5, on BreeTanner.com. Read More...

Last week, "New Moon" star Taylor Lautner celebrated his February 11 birthday. The "Twilight" werewolf turned 18, which means he's old enough to smoke and to die for his country. No drinking or gambling -- not legally, anyway -- but does it really matter? The kid can make an entire nation of young ladies swoon by simply removing his shirt.

In honor of Tay Tay's birthday, "Eclipse" actress Jodelle Ferland got a little creative. She captured the hunky actor's likeness in an impressively detailed pencil drawing, which is on display this morning as your Daily TwitPic. See for yourself after the jump. Read More...
