Buffy the Vampire SlayerJoss Whedon isn't the only one out there with an opinion on the new "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" reboot from Warner Bros. Former "Buffy" actress Amber Benson contributed some perspective yesterday with a possible explanation for the current situation.

On a more serious note, tension between North Korea and South Korea has been on a lot of minds today after the North shelled the island of Yeonpyeong, killing two soldiers. John Cho was among those hoping for a peaceful outcome, while elsewhere Damon Lindelof shared his own thoughts on resolving disputes. He's retweeted below, along with fears about Thanksgiving and a thank-you note to Jessica Simpson's surprise chicken-soup benefactor.

Some citizens of Twitter-Wood were able to score seats inside or at home during the MTV Video Music Awards last night. Dane Cook and Chris Pine found themselves on the wrong side of a locked door right before Eminem's performance, judging from a post on Cook's account.

Meanwhile, much of Hollywood has been focused on Toronto in recent days with the Toronto International Film Festival underway. James Gunn and Rachelle Lefevre both had important screenings going down according to their feeds. You can find out a bit more about them below along with the reason Jessica Simpson gave for sustaining rug burns yesterday and the memento Alison Brie took home from Fashion Week in New York.

April Fool's Day always has a way of blurring real life with nightmare scenarios and news that is too awesome to be true. I'm going to leave it to you, however, to decide which category Dane Cook's performance at the White House falls into in today's rundown of ridiculous and ridiculously cool posts from the Twitter-Wood feed.

Below, you will find Jessica Simpson's new career aspiration, as well as Kevin Smith's vow to leave Twitter and Simon Pegg's connection to Justin Bieber's popularity. Check out the following celebrity retweets for yourself, and tell us in the comment section whether you buy what they're selling or not. I will say this, though: If the "Entourage" Season 7 pic at the top turns out to be phony, some heads somewhere are going to roll. Read More...

The battle to overtake Justin Bieber in Twitter's trending topics rankings gained two determined competitors with the new "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" trailer and John Cusack's relentless support of "Hot Tub Time Machine." Both films got some face time with Twitter, but Bieber has thus far stayed the course.

In other tweets, Jessica Simpson and Fred Durst mourned the loss of famed rock photographer Jim Marshall, and Simpson posted some shots of his work that she's collected over the years. See for yourself below, where you can also find out about a runaway monkey in Florida, see who else has been trying out Chatroulette and read Aziz Ansari's thoughts on Chris Evans as Captain America. Director Lee Unkrich may have inadvertently broken news that will surprise no one today when tweeted about his new iPad and announced that he can't wait to watch "Toy Story 3" on it. The movie's post-theater arrival to iTunes was a foregone conclusion anyway, especially considering how heavy a presence Apple has in the film and Pixar's long-running ties with the MacBook-maker.

Their relationship is obviously a bit cozier that, for instance, Michael Rosenbaum's is with "American Idol" at the moment. I've read critical commentary in the Twitter-Wood feed before, but the show rubbed him the wrong way last night. Check out the bone he had to pick after the jump along with who pulled Tom Felton over, what Diablo Cody thinks of Beyoncé and who Edgar Wright had dinner with. It's all retweeted in Twitter-Wood for March 12th, 2010. Read More...

Twitter-Wood got down to business over the last 24 hours, with Fred Durst TwitPic'ing from the recording studio, Miranda Cosgrove clocking in some hours at the beach for a video, and Alex Meraz proving that he giving his all during that InStyle photoshoot he mentioned yesterday.

Jessica Simpson, meanwhile, decided to do some house cleaning. And while Brian Lynch hasn't made it around to seeing "Alice in Wonderland" yet, that hasn't stopped him from forming an opinion. Scope out pictures and posts about all of these happenings, as well a "Community" cast photo op after the jump, because this is the best that Twitter-Wood had to offer for March 4th 2010. Olympic ice hockey had Canadians and American alike tweeting last night, and Canadian Twitter-Wood ambassador William Shatner was among them. The epic win by the U.S., as well as a few other spectacular matches from the day showed up in posts, including a short conversation between Jim Carrey and Michael Chiklis, and it turns out Carrey is a big admirer of Russia's Alex Ovechkin.

There's been drama off the ice in Vancouver as well, though, as the son of Shatner's former "Star Trek" co-star Walter Koenig has been declared missing there. LeVar Burton and Wil Wheaton both tweeted some links to help get the word out about Andrew Koenig, who hasn't been heard from since February 14th. Find out out more about Koenig, as well as what "Moon" director Duncan Jones is moving on to now and what kind of pet Jessica Simpson is thinking about adopting. All such information is retweeted below in Twitter-Wood for February 22nd, 2010. Read More...

Whether they were watching them, hating on them, or just hanging around for the after-parties, most of Twitter-Wood was aware of the Grammy Awards last night. Russell Brand thought they were long, Jessica Simpson said she cried, and Brian Posehn's blood-pressure wasn't up to watching them, but they contributed tweets.

In the few non-Grammy tweets that showed showed up in the feed today Demi Moore had a photo opp with the "Jersey Shore" cast, which got retweeted all over the place, and actor Rip Torn's alleged bank break-in got a lot of actors thinking. Find out after the jump what Steve Agee had to say, as well as if Neil Gaiman partied it up or went to bed early on Grammy night. It's all in Twitter-Wood for February 1, 2010. Read More...

The New Orleans Saints' win over the Minnesota Vikings last night landed them a trip to Miami for the Super Bowl, but it also summoned an avalanche of opinions in Twitter-Wood. I sifted through some of the best, including a dream premonition from Jessica Simpson an after-game shot from the stands courtesy of Reggie Bush's significant other Kim Kardashian.

Outside of the stadium, movies business has been brewing all over the place, with Diablo Cody kicking her "Sweet Valley High" script-writing into gear and Rainn Wilson wrapping work on "Super." Just click on past the jump, and you can read those for yourself along with the reason Peter Serafinowicz says he was fated to voice Paul in "Yellow Submarine" and Shannon Elizabeth's view at the live-action "Pee-wee's Playhouse" production. It's all in Twitter-Wood for January 25, 2010. Read More...

The "Scream 4" isn't even finished yet, and it's already a product of its time. According to his Twitter account, Kevin Williamson is giving screen-writing a go on his new Droid -- or at least inspiring him, depending on how you read the post.

On the other side of Twitter-Wood, there's far less ambiguity in Alyssa Milano, Michael Ian Black and Brian Lynch's tweets about Pat Robertson. The televangelist ruffled more than a few feathers yesterday with his suggestion that Haiti's massive earthquake was a result of the country making a deal with the devil. You can read their responses for yourself after the jump along with a shot of Pauly D of "Jersey Shore," and tweets from the gym. Twitter-Wood may be crowded and cranky today, but here it is for January 14, 2010. Read More...
