Whether they were watching them, hating on them, or just hanging around for the after-parties, most of Twitter-Wood was aware of the Grammy Awards last night. Russell Brand thought they were long, Jessica Simpson said she cried, and Brian Posehn's blood-pressure wasn't up to watching them, but they contributed tweets.

In the few non-Grammy tweets that showed showed up in the feed today Demi Moore had a photo opp with the "Jersey Shore" cast, which got retweeted all over the place, and actor Rip Torn's alleged bank break-in got a lot of actors thinking. Find out after the jump what Steve Agee had to say, as well as if Neil Gaiman partied it up or went to bed early on Grammy night. It's all in Twitter-Wood for February 1, 2010. Read more...

The New Orleans Saints' win over the Minnesota Vikings last night landed them a trip to Miami for the Super Bowl, but it also summoned an avalanche of opinions in Twitter-Wood. I sifted through some of the best, including a dream premonition from Jessica Simpson an after-game shot from the stands courtesy of Reggie Bush's significant other Kim Kardashian.

Outside of the stadium, movies business has been brewing all over the place, with Diablo Cody kicking her "Sweet Valley High" script-writing into gear and Rainn Wilson wrapping work on "Super." Just click on past the jump, and you can read those for yourself along with the reason Peter Serafinowicz says he was fated to voice Paul in "Yellow Submarine" and Shannon Elizabeth's view at the live-action "Pee-wee's Playhouse" production. It's all in Twitter-Wood for January 25, 2010. Read more...

The "Scream 4" isn't even finished yet, and it's already a product of its time. According to his Twitter account, Kevin Williamson is giving screen-writing a go on his new Droid -- or at least inspiring him, depending on how you read the post.

On the other side of Twitter-Wood, there's far less ambiguity in Alyssa Milano, Michael Ian Black and Brian Lynch's tweets about Pat Robertson. The televangelist ruffled more than a few feathers yesterday with his suggestion that Haiti's massive earthquake was a result of the country making a deal with the devil. You can read their responses for yourself after the jump along with a shot of Pauly D of "Jersey Shore," and tweets from the gym. Twitter-Wood may be crowded and cranky today, but here it is for January 14, 2010. Read more...

Ah, the Simpson sisters. No, not Patty and Selma. They're Bouviers anyway. I'm talking about actual people, siblings Jessica and Ashlee. They have so much fun together. Take today's Daily TwitPic. I'm not entirely sure of what Jessica hopes to accomplish, eating her sister Ashlee's hair like that. But they both seem to be having a blast.

Maybe Jessica has worked out a revolutionary new way to style hair? Or perhaps there's a clue in the tweet that went along with this pic: "what the who?!?! Who is in whoville tonight?!" Hmmmm... a seemingly unrelated Dr. Seuss reference. Not much help there, huh. It's entirely possible that some alcohol was involved in the staging of this picture. Perhaps a little subterfuge too; look at how surprised Ashlee is. Whatever the case, enjoy this morning's fun, exceedingly odd Daily TwitPic. Read more...

Android is bringing aboard a public face for Androids everywhere at its Android Lounge at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. CES has been all over the tweets of gadget-conscious Twitter-Wood accounts this week. "Star Trek"'s Brent Spiner didn't sound too thrilled about putting on his Data makeup for the appearance, but both he and "Heroes" actor James Kyson Lee were stoked for the show.

On the subject of movies, Mark Webber got in to his "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" co-star Michael Cera's premiere for "Youth in Revolt" last night, and he had good things to say. Check out those tweets after the jump where you'll also see Jessica Simpson eating hair, a tattoo proposition from Jim Gaffigan and a "Toy Story 3" designer's holiday card. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for January 7, 2010. Read more...

Earlier today, we brought you an early edition of Twitter-Wood packed chock-full of celebrity praise for James Cameron's sci-fi epic, "Avatar." It's a much more tragic set of circumstances that brings me back to you with another Twitter-Wood early edition.

"Clueless" star Brittany Murphy left us suddenly over the weekend, the victim of a heart attack at the too-young age of 32. The breaking news resulted in an outpouring of grief and sympathy for Murphy's family from around the celebrity Twittersphere. I'll let the people who knew her take it from here... Read more...

The "Dexter" season finale was one of the most tweeted about of the year, and Twitter-Wood had most a before post from actor John Lithgow and an after reaction from Jessica Simpson waiting in the feed today.

Simon Pegg, meanwhile, checked out "Avatar" and posted his predictions for the "Star Wars" franchise based on what he saw. And speaking of assumptions based on seeing things, I indulged in three retweets from Eli Roth today, which you'll find were totally worth as you see him explain "The Office" actress Mindy Kaling's reaction to his aging automobile and how he uses it to test people he meets. You can read that after the jump alongside a pic of a kind who looks nearly identical to Russell from "Up" and a shot of Tom Felton from the British Comedy Awards last night. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for December 14, 2009. Read more...

You can keep following or trash all of your bootleg and unofficial "Twilight" Twitter updates now, because they've officially jumped into Twitter-Wood over at @Twilight. In addition to their look at the "New Moon" sound mixing stage, director David Slade posted an update on "Eclipse" filming, which had actor Xavier Samuel on set.

Also in the completely official MTV Movies Blog Twitter-Wood report today, I've got a pick from Selena Gomez of a snack I've never thought of putting together myself, but which you may want to check with her for pointers on if you've ever pondered how to apply maple syrup to a corn dog. Scope out all of that info and more below. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for October 12, 2009. Read more...

The nice thing about Twitter-stalking celebrities is that under most circumstances there is no danger of injury or harm to personal property, which is more than can be said of Christian Serratos' mother's car today, according the "Twilight" star's tweets.

And while danger may not have been a factor, Miley Cyrus seems to have decided that Twitter is no longer the place for her, according to her final tweet before closing her account. I will personally miss the pictures or her mullet-wigged, surgical masked father, in addition to all of her meditative wisdom, and wish her well offline. Sarah Silverman, Ice-T and Jessica Simpson are all still online though. Believe or not, they all posted pics over the last 24 hours, and Silverman's is easily the least bizarre. Oh, and let's also take a moment to welcome Tracy Morgan to the Twitter community. He greets us with an ominous message, but that's nothing compared to the NSFW one that follows. Check 'em all out below in the Twitter-Wood report for October 8, 2009. Read more...

Simon Pegg happily tweeted about the publicity he hopes to see "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" get in the U.S. now that an on-set burglary has resulted in a trial. If his co-star Megan Fox wasn't enough to get the film some attention, he predicts that his testimony will be.

One film that's been getting loads of Twitter attention this week has been "Zombieland," which everyone seems to have been invited to see. Shannon Elizabeth can be counted among those invitees and gets today's Twitter Pic of Day vote with the cutest zombie kiss you'll see this week. Check it out below along with Rumer Willis' backstage shot of a Govt. Mule concert, what Taylor Lautner has in common with a roller coaster and what Richard Kelly wants to see in Diablo Cody's "Sweet Valley High" movie. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for September 24, 2009. Read more...
