You can keep following or trash all of your bootleg and unofficial "Twilight" Twitter updates now, because they've officially jumped into Twitter-Wood over at @Twilight. In addition to their look at the "New Moon" sound mixing stage, director David Slade posted an update on "Eclipse" filming, which had actor Xavier Samuel on set.

Also in the completely official MTV Movies Blog Twitter-Wood report today, I've got a pick from Selena Gomez of a snack I've never thought of putting together myself, but which you may want to check with her for pointers on if you've ever pondered how to apply maple syrup to a corn dog. Scope out all of that info and more below. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for October 12, 2009. Read more...

The nice thing about Twitter-stalking celebrities is that under most circumstances there is no danger of injury or harm to personal property, which is more than can be said of Christian Serratos' mother's car today, according the "Twilight" star's tweets.

And while danger may not have been a factor, Miley Cyrus seems to have decided that Twitter is no longer the place for her, according to her final tweet before closing her account. I will personally miss the pictures or her mullet-wigged, surgical masked father, in addition to all of her meditative wisdom, and wish her well offline. Sarah Silverman, Ice-T and Jessica Simpson are all still online though. Believe or not, they all posted pics over the last 24 hours, and Silverman's is easily the least bizarre. Oh, and let's also take a moment to welcome Tracy Morgan to the Twitter community. He greets us with an ominous message, but that's nothing compared to the NSFW one that follows. Check 'em all out below in the Twitter-Wood report for October 8, 2009. Read more...

Simon Pegg happily tweeted about the publicity he hopes to see "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" get in the U.S. now that an on-set burglary has resulted in a trial. If his co-star Megan Fox wasn't enough to get the film some attention, he predicts that his testimony will be.

One film that's been getting loads of Twitter attention this week has been "Zombieland," which everyone seems to have been invited to see. Shannon Elizabeth can be counted among those invitees and gets today's Twitter Pic of Day vote with the cutest zombie kiss you'll see this week. Check it out below along with Rumer Willis' backstage shot of a Govt. Mule concert, what Taylor Lautner has in common with a roller coaster and what Richard Kelly wants to see in Diablo Cody's "Sweet Valley High" movie. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for September 24, 2009. Read more...

Though Patrick Swayze's extensive career prompted massive tweeting about "Dirty Dancing," "Point Break" and "Ghost" today, it's important not to forget some of his less prominent contributions from "Donnie Darko" and "Saturday Night Live." Richard Kelly and Seth Meyers were just two of the many mourners who showed up in the Twitter-Wood feed to share such memories.

Swayze's death wasn't the only tragedy to appear today, though, as Jessica Simpson's dog Daisy was apparently kidnapped by a coyote. The actress and singer posted a worried pick of the missing pooch her account, in case anyone finds it. Elsewhere, "Eclipse" filming continues and you can find tweets from director David Slade as well as actors Peter Facinelli and Anna Kendrick below. They're in the Twitter-Wood report for September 15, 2009. Read more...

Miley CyrusIt may come to you as no surprise that Kristen Bell is a huge George Carlin fan. But did you know that she once co-composed a musical based on his comedy? The Twitter-Wood feed picked up a few details about her un-produced masterpiece today, and I have to say, someone should get that on stage -- soon!

Other Twitter-Wood revelations included Rose McGowan's willingness to appear on "Mad Men" -- yet another move I would support! Several other tweets may be slightly less shocking -- for instance, that Tom Felton's hair-dying adventures have resumed, or that Kevin Nealon makes jokes about Kim Jong Il. You'll understand when you read today's Twitter-Wood report below. But first, for those of us out there without ready access to a beach, here's Miley Cyrus laughing in our faces in the Twitter Pic of the Day. Read more...

Jessica SimpsonYou may recall a little over a week ago when the Twitter-Wood feed and Emmy Rossum were left in suspense about the costume theme for Jessica Simpson's birthday party. Well, luckily Ms. Rossum tweeted in to announce what she needs to wear for the Barbie & Ken-themed event today, putting that issue to rest.

Surely you've all been anxiously awaiting Tom Felton's status, as well, since he has now arrived in New York for the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" premiere. He was apparently honored by McDonald's with a stack of nine McNugget meals (twitpic link included). Read all about that and Clive Barker's favorite junk food below in the Twitter-Wood report for July 10; but first, as promised in the headline, here is a picture of Shannon Elizabeth screaming as she falls down Space Mountain. Enjoy! Read more...

Russell BrandHollywood may be slowing down in anticipation of the three-day Fourth of July weekend, but its citizens have still been tweeting hard today in the Twitter-Wood feed. Arnold Schwarzenegger in particular has been keeping his TwitterBerry application close in the face of California's unresolved budget problems. In fact, today he met a rather enthusiastic fan that he will tell you about in perhaps one too many details.

America's Independence Day means parties galore, and the faces of Twitter-Wood have been busy making plans. Emmy Rossum received a preemptive tweet-vite for an Evite from Jessica Simpson (along with a generous compliment), and Russell Brand today pondered aloud and uncensored what he will wear to P. Diddy's infamous white party affair. Check out all of this and some grumbles from New Orleans on the set of "Father of Invention" below in the Twitter-Wood report for July 2, 2009.

@Schwarzenegger Fresno protests have good lines. Esp. the guy asking me 2 sign Terminator 2 & budget. But saying he loved me in Red Sonja - below the belt.
