Last week, Jessica Biel revealed exclusively to MTV some of the first hard details about her character in director Joe Carnahan's big screen adaptation of "The A-Team." She'll play Carissa Sosa, a Department of Defense flunkie who has a romantic history with A-Team honcho Faceman (Bradley Cooper). Presuming the flick follows the action genre mold, Sosa will likely spend much of the movie pursuing Faceman and his pals until circumstances force them all to work together against a greater threat. Or something like that. Remember: this is pure speculation.

If facts are what you're looking for, there are some more to share on "The A-Team." Earlier this week, "Entertainment Tonight" reported from the set of the movie in a short video clip featuring interviews with Cooper, Biel and B.A. Baracus actor and UFC champ Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. You also get a brief, up-close glimpse of "District 9" star Sharlto Copley in his full "Howling Mad" Murdock get-up, but Liam Neeson's Hannibal is notably absent. Check out the video-y goodness after the jump. Read more...

FROM MTV.COM: Jessica Biel has now entered the "Twilight" universe, as she's co-starring with Taylor Lautner in the new romantic comedy "Valentine's Day," set to hit theaters early next year. So, now that Biel and Lautner have collaborated on the rom-com, could we see the actress set foot in Forks, Washington? She wouldn't rule it out.

"Well, I'm clearly familiar with the films. I haven't read the books, but I haven't seen any of the films yet so I'm not that familiar — I know the idea of what it's about," she told MTV News. "I mean, maybe [I'd be in the next 'Twilight' film]. That would be lovely. I am not opposed to playing a vampire."

Jessica Biel is gearing up to bring her A-game to "The A-Team." The actress said in a recent interview with MTV News that if fans are expecting it to be anything like the TV show, they are in for a surprise. The movie will be much more serious in tone than the classic 80's action series.

"I think it will be a little bit similar here and there but we really have our own tone going on," she said. "It’s a little bit less campy than the actual show and a little bit more serious action and fighting sequences but still with lots of humor. Lots and lots of humor." Read more...

There are a lot of fools in this world, and I pity all of them. But I most pity the fool who's not on board with the idea of bringing the classic "A-Team" TV series to the big screen. The original was gloriously cheesy, filled with bad one-liners and over-the-top action. It was a made-for-TV serial blockbuster. Mix in a $100 million+ dollar budget, and you've got a cinematic atom bomb on your hands.

The key cast has been slowly -- ever-so-slowly -- coming together. After much rumor-mongering, misreporting and illicitly obtained soundbiting, stars Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson were finally confirmed earlier this year for the roles of Faceman and Hannibal, respectively. More recently, UFC fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was kinda-sorta confirmed for the role of B.A. Baracus (we're still waiting for official confirmation from Jackson's reps on that one). Now we have word today from Variety that Jessica Biel and "District 9" star Sharlto Copley are both in talks. Read more...

On the Line: I attended an industry screening, but even the press were buzzing about the film. People seemed to be looking forward to "Easy Virtue," but with a cast that includes Jessica Biel, Ben Barnes, Colin Firth and Kristin Scott Thomas, how could you not?

In the Theater: Because it was a press screening and there are a number of them for this film, the screening wasn't packed. There was lots of buzz about who's seen what Tribeca Film Festival films so far, and what's coming up in the next few days. Apparently many writers have been spending endless hours in movie theaters for the past few days, which is bittersweet, considering the fantastic weather New York City has experienced the past few days. Demi Moore in 'Striptease'With Jessica Biel soon to hit the big screen as a stripper in "Powder Blue," and Kristen Stewart doing the same in "Welcome to the Rileys," it seems Hollywood is just filled to the brim with actresses taking their clothes off to show a more vulnerable side. But as any film fan knows, this isn’t a new trend. Hence, this top 10 list: The Best Strippers On Film.

10. Erika Eleniak in "Under Seige"
Playing an ex-playmate brought aboard a battleship to pop out of its captain’s birthday cake, only to find when she does the ship overtaken by mercenaries threatening nuclear war, Eleniak narrowly beats out deserving bids by Natalie Portman (Closer) and Natalie Wood (Gypsy). As much courage as both ladies plainly exhibited in delivering their respective performances, that still wasn’t half as much as Eleniak displayed in locking lips with co-star Steven Seagal.

It’s probably fair to say that more people know David O. Russell as the hothead narcissist George Clooney punched, than as the gifted filmmaker who directed George Clooney in “Three Kings.” But, then, that’s what happens I suppose, when you also a) verbally abuse a beloved actress in your movie to the point of inciting a mental breakdown and b) make a movie without the money to finish it.

But while the fate of that movie, “Nailed,” may be called into question, the behavior of Russell can’t be, stars of the flick told MTV News, painting a very different picture of the director than what’s appeared in most recent stories.

“He’s wonderful,” Catherine Keener said.

“I love him,” co-star Jessica Biel echoed. “He pulled such a bizarre cool interesting performance out of everyone. It was quite an interesting experience. David was amazing.” Read more...
