"The Secret Life of Bees," based on the bestselling novel, is set in the racially-charged South during the 1960s and follows a white girl (Dakota Fanning) who flees an abusive home with her African-American caregiver (after springing her from bigots at the local jail). Together, the two travel to the small South Carolina town where the secret behind her mother's death lies buried.

During a recent visit to the set, we spoke with co-stars Jennifer Hudson (who plays the caregiver) and artist Alicia Keys, who plays a part in the film. The co-stars took a break from their busy schedules to talk about music and the pic, which also stars Queen Latifah and Paul Bettany.

Our own Kim Stolz managed to finagle her way onto the set to capture a scene where Hudson was walking into a Starbucks to meet Sarah Jessica Parker. Watch our exclusive video below.

Earlier this week, we brought you news that the men of "Sex and the City" have returned for its big-screen debut. Last week, we broke the news that May 30, 2008 is the film's official release date. Jason LewisIt looks like each of the ladies of "Sex and the City" will have some familiar men on their arm when the eagerly awaited film version hits the big screen. Last week we broke the news of a prime summer release date for the "Sex and the City" film, and now we can report that you will see two more familiar faces in the flick.

Reprising their roles as the significant others of Samantha (Kim Cattrall) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) will be Jason Lewis and David Eigenberg. This news comes straight from New Line so you can take it to the bank. Lewis and Eigenberg join fellow returning "Sex and the City" paramours Chris Noth (yes, Big is back) and Evan Handler.

As for new faces, the previously reported addition of Jennifer Hudson as Carrie's assistant is the only name to surface so far. But with production scheduled to begin in New York within the week, look for additional names to pop up soon enough.

So it looks like the gang is all back. Are you happy to see these familiar men returning for the film? What new blood would you like to see the ladies cannodling with? Tell us below.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin DavisWe've just been informed that New Line has laid claim to a release date for its soon to be filmed "Sex and the City" movie. Got your datebook out? Alright, May 30, 2008 is the date. Clearly the studio has alot of confidence in the commercial prospects of this one, choosing one of the biggest early summer weekends to launch the ladies on the big screen.

According to the current calendar for next year that means that Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha, and Miranda, will face off against the big Eddie Murphy comedy "Starship Dave" and the Judd Apatow produced comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." This week we learned that along with the four ladies and Chris Noth, Jennifer Hudson will make an appearance as Carrie's assistant.
