Before the big show on Sunday, we'll be airing our official MTV Movie Awards preshow, "Coming Attractions," live at 7:30 p.m. ET. Beyond talking with the biggest stars around, we'll also be unveiling a slew of exclusive clips from some of the hottest upcoming flicks. We're excited to say that one of these will be a scene from "Hancock," the upcoming superhero movie starring Will Smith as a superpowered slacker and Jason Bateman as the public relations expert trying to fix his image. Get a sneak peek at the clip in the video and pics below, and then tune in at 7:30 p.m. ET for the full awesomeness.

Usually it'll cost you top dollar to get a beautiful woman to swear at you with a smile (insert Eliot Spitzer joke here) but for me the opportunity presented itself earlier this week when I came to face with Charlize Theron. In addition to her calling me unprintable names on at least three occasions, she talked about her love of Jason Bateman's rear end, and how she almost came to star in "Showgirls" way back when. Read the Charlize Theron interview here. Check out the full video here. Or if you're lazy, watch the first part of it below.

Jason Bateman looked adorable as ever on the red carpet at last Sunday's Oscars, but the "Juno" star may have been feeling a little self-conscious about his hair. "He's a weirdo with blonde highlights," Bateman rushed, when asked to explain his character Dominic Foy in "State of Play," which is currently filming -- hence, the Seacrest-esque blonde tips.
As fans of the BBC miniseries on which the flick is based, we are tickled by the casting of Bateman as Mr. Foy, a sleazy weasel prone to gaudy fashion staples like fur coats and tinted glasses. If only his character's fashion cues had affected Bateman's red carpet duds as well as his 'do. Read more...
This is the story of a low-rated TV show that cultivated some of the most loyal fans in the history of the medium, and now has a new glimmer of hope. This is the story of a wealthy family who lost everything, and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together. It's "Arrested Development."
Cue the plucky music, kids, because Jason Bateman and Michael Cera gave MTV some big news this week: The best TV comedy of the last decade is still alive. Read more...
The state of "State of Play" is very much in question this week. The high profile political drama (and remake of a popular British mini-series) was set to re-team "Fight Club" enthusiasts Brad Pitt and Ed Norton up until a few days ago when word came down that Pitt wasn't satisfied with the script.
But the project may not be dead just yet. Russell Crowe is reportedly considering stepping in. As for the rest of the cast, well I know Jason Bateman was primed for the shoot. Check out his detailed and curious description of his character when I chatted with him recently. Now if you believe Variety he's just playing a reporter. But I'd much prefer to take Bateman's perhaps questionable word. Read more...

Following on the heels of our just-published story on the quasi-reunion of Michael Cera and Jason Bateman in "Juno", I wanted to put up some additional news on what might become an "Arrested Development" reunion for real.
"We would all love to get back together and maybe do something with the show in the future," the former (and possibly future) Michael Bluth said during the interview, revealing that talks are still alive. "But I don't know when -- or how -- that would happen."
"Maybe it could be as a movie or something," Bateman reasoned, saying that the emergence of "Superbad" star Cera -- and improv comedies in general -- have created a more welcoming environment for the dysfunctional clan. "We'll see. We'll let the adults figure it out." Read more...
