"G.I. Joe" fans, it's official: you're about to get rocked.
A sequel to "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" is currently in the works with "Never Say Never" director Jon M. Chu behind the camera, and while Channing Tatum and Ray Park are already more or less confirmed for a return, there are some notable new names in the mix as well. For one, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has confirmed that he'll be in the flick.
Additionally, THR reports that RZA and D.J. Cotrona are in negotiations to join "Cobra Strikes" as Blind Master (Snake-Eyes' former trainer) and fan-favorite Flint, respectively. Elodie Yung was previously cast as the Joe ninja Jinx.
There's plenty more casting news after the jump, including word of a potential Leonardo DiCaprio-Beyonce team-up (what??) and some new "Game of Thrones" rumors.

Love is a drug, and it's one we're getting addicted to in this exclusive clip from "Sucker Punch," which arrives on Blu-ray and DVD next Tuesday (June 28).
MTV News has an exclusive first look at the dance sequence within Zack Snyder's latest. The sexy scene shows a whole lot of seductive dancing between Blue (Oscar Isaac) and Vera (Carla Gugino) to the tune of "Love Is The Drug." Cut into that cabaret-like sequence are shots of Rocket (Jena Malone), Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish), Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens) and Amber (Jamie Chung) strutting their stuff on the stage while Baby Doll (Emily Browning) hangs in the background.

Now that Arnold Schwarzenegger is ready to delve back into the wild world of Hollywood, speculation has risen as to what his first project will be.
The latest we heard was that it would be a television series, which is a bit surprising since he is such a major movie star. But now Deadline has the news that the mystery series might actually be animated. They speculate that comic book guru Stan Lee might even be a major collaborator. The plot thickens!

Warner Bros. has released a whole slew of new photos from the upcoming "Sucker Punch," revealing our clearest looks yet at Jon Hamm and Vanessa Hudgens' characters in the movie. Seeing the erstwhile Don Draper in evil nerdy-glasses mode while Hudgens taps into her promiscuous side? Yeah, it's safe to say that we're hooked on "Sucker Punch" already!

With all the casting rumors swirling around "The Hangover 2," it's hard to know exactly what in the name of Mike Tyson's pet tiger will be going on in the sequel to the highest-grossing R-rated comedy of all time.
Is Liam Neeson playing the role of the deranged Bangkok tattoo artist that was originally intended for Mel Gibson? Or will that part go to Paul Giamatti, who along with former President Clinton, just signed on for a cameo? And what happened to Heather Graham's stripper with a heart of gold and her son nicknamed "Carlos"?

Sorry, Heather Graham! We knew you weren't reprising your role as sweet stripper Jade in "The Hangover 2," but now you have officially been replaced. The Hollywood Reporter breaks the news that "Sucker Punch" star Jamie Chung has joined the cast as the fiancée of Ed Helms's character's Stu.
The fact that the 27-year-old Chung might be a tad too young -- and hot -- for Stu aside, this at least allows us to flesh out the film's plot a little more. Maybe Stu's bachelor party is the catalyst for our boys' new adventure in Bangkok, where Alan (Zach Galifianakis) reportedly beds a transsexual (accidentally, we think) and the boys encounter an angry tattoo artist played by Liam Neeson. Who knows, maybe the tranny and tattoo artist will be one and the same (fingers crossed)? Read More...

Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Browning, Jamie Chung and Jena Malone are some of the actresses that seem least likely to be the next big action stars, but based on how well-received the panel and footage from their upcoming "Sucker Punch" was on Saturday at Comic-Con, it seems like that is exactly what they are set up to be.
When the four starlets of Zack Snyder's latest project came to chat with MTV at SDCC, they said that they didn't take the violence of the film lightly.
"We probably at the beginning all felt like, oh my God, we don't look like fighters," Browning said. "We're kind of all little girls. We trained our asses off -- we worked really hard." Read More...

Whenever I see Michael Shannon is in something, I sit up and take notice. You should too. He's delightfully bizarre, and he channels that aspect of his personality very well in all of his roles. You probably remember him most recently from "The Runaways," in which he played band manager Kim Fowley.
The news today is that Shannon will star as the villain in "Premium Rush," opposite star Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The story follows Gordon-Levitt as a dirty cop (Shannon) pursues him through New York City, set on recovering some mysterious envelope that has come into the kid's possession. Jamie Chung, who appears in this Friday's "Grown Ups," is also in talks to star. Head over to The Hollywood Reporter for the full story.

Zack Snyder's long-awaited cinematic mind-trip "Sucker Punch" finally hits theaters this Friday. At the center of the story are five women, all of them inmates at the fictional Lennox House for the Mentally Insane. They're also exotic dancers, and ass-kicking warriors as well. The film's most intense action unfolds in a sort of fantasy reality. The less said about it here, the better; what you need to know is that each of the five Lennox inmates get to show off their particular talents during these sequences.
To get you in the mood for Friday's release, we're profiling each one right here on MTV Movies Blog all week. First up is Amber, played by Jamie Chung.
