Lakers fans make up a sizable chunk of Twitter-Wood, but there are some Celtics supporters mixed in there as well. Dane Cook, Rose McGowan and James Kyson Lee all weighed in on the NBA Finals confrontation at the Staples center yesterday, and you may or may not agree with their assessments.

"Eclipse" star Kristen Stewart's opinions can sometime be equally divisive, and at least one actress spoke up about how she feels on that subject today. I'll let you find out who that was below, along with what John August thinks of "I Love You Phillip Morris" and who wants a piece of "Human Centipede"-themed jewelry.

It's all on the record in Twitter-Wood for June 4, 2010. Read more...

Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy announced they were splitting yesterday on their Twitter accounts, and while it's never as fun to read the break-up tweets as it is to watch Frankie Muniz hold a funeral for his dead cactus, you have to hand it to the two of them for keeping things classy (in 140 characters or less).

In other more entertaining tweets, Richard Kelly posted that he's pretty sure he witnessed a Transformer guest appearance in "Clash of the Titans." I haven't seen it myself yet, but you can find out if you agree with him after the jump. His thoughts are retweeted along with Jackie Chan's birthday cake, memories of a homeless "iCarly" fan and the hotel David Spade was staying in when he got invited to join "SNL." I present to you Twitter-Wood for April 7th, 2010. Read more...

Today's Twitter-Wood came under duress, as TwitPic.com was down for a while, and I wasn't sure where the Twitter Pic of the Day was going to come from. Luckily, everything worked out and I didn't have to make a blind decision. That means I've fully vetted today's shot of John Travolta at the opening for "From Paris With Love," Jason Reitman's view of Oprah's birthday celebration and Jackie Earle Haley's photo opp at Golden Ear Park.

The feed also brought a status update from Kevin Smith on his film "Hit Somebody," which is based on one of my all-time favorite Warren Zevon songs, a few more thoughts on J.D. Salinger's passing and a pre-date dilemma from Diablo Cody. Check it all out and find out who was backstage at the Grammy Awards yesterday in Twitter-Wood for January 29, 2010. Read more...

Android is bringing aboard a public face for Androids everywhere at its Android Lounge at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. CES has been all over the tweets of gadget-conscious Twitter-Wood accounts this week. "Star Trek"'s Brent Spiner didn't sound too thrilled about putting on his Data makeup for the appearance, but both he and "Heroes" actor James Kyson Lee were stoked for the show.

On the subject of movies, Mark Webber got in to his "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" co-star Michael Cera's premiere for "Youth in Revolt" last night, and he had good things to say. Check out those tweets after the jump where you'll also see Jessica Simpson eating hair, a tattoo proposition from Jim Gaffigan and a "Toy Story 3" designer's holiday card. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for January 7, 2010. Read more...

It's been a long week for everyone in Twitter-Wood, especially for those involved with "New Moon." Someone at Mattel managed to sculpt out the abs on a Jacob Barbie doll in time for the film's release next week, though, and there's a pic in the feed today to prove it. Writer Brian Lynch, meanwhile, tweeted that the "Twilight" frenzy has stirred up cases of mistaken identity for him and prompted numerous friends to ask him how often he gets mistaken for the actor.

Jason Reitman seemed to have been hardest hit by the work week, though, seemingly passing out on his set. Check out that shot, along with with a "Star Trek" actor's brush with Neil Armstrong, Ice-T's run-in with Marilyn Manson and Fred Durst's plans for his "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" night-vision googles. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 13, 2009. Read more...

I'm not trying to rain on Warmoth's parade in running this Twitter-Wood special report, but this feels newsworthy. Director Oren Peli's "Paranormal Activity" is something of a sensation. Three weeks into its limited release (yet slowly widening) run, the (roughly) $11,000 budgeted found footage horror/suspense flick has earned more than $30 million in box office sales. It's downright staggering.

The success owes its thanks largely to two factors. One: the movie is actually damn good, featuring some well-crafted smoke & mirror and believable performances from the newcomer stars. Two: Paramount has waged an incredibly successful grassroots promotional campaign, built largely on extending the film's word-of-mouth appeal through social networking tools. Micro-blogging service Twitter has of course been one aspect of this campaign, and even celebrities have been getting in on the fun. This Twitter-Wood special edition is all about rounding up those celeb tweets. So hit the jump and enjoy!

Jon FavreauFarrah Fawcett still has scores of fans both inside and outside of Hollywood, and stars from Emma Roberts to Paris Hilton tweeted condolences today in the Twitter-Wood feed. There were also plenty of Shaq fans busy reacting to the NBA star's trade to Cleveland today, including Jeremy Piven and Danny Masterson.

Meanwhile, an exhausted Jon Favreau proved that a full day filming "Iron Man 2" wasn't enough to dampen his sense of humor, as he tweeted a completely legit shot from the movie's set. Sarah SilvermanIt was a relaxed Friday in the Twitter-Wood feed today, with Jon Favreau reminiscing about poker with Sarah Silverman, Silverman talking about visiting her shrink, and some friendly tweet jabs being exchanged between "How to Train Your Dragon" co-stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse and T.J. Miller. All of this and the wedding photo you never knew you wanted to see of Zach Galifianakis await you below.

But first, an update from Kevin Spacey on the "Casino Jack" set, which as he pointed out to his Twitter friend today isn't really about casinos. "That was Jack Abramoff's nick name in DC." I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter-Wood update for June 12, 2009. Read more...
