Of course, nobody expects them to be better at their new job.

"F--k him, what is that? Stepping on MY territory!" writer and producer Judd Apatow joked of Whites Stripes frontman Jack White's performance as Elvis in the musical spoof. "I found [him] irritating because he's like the coolest guy on Earth, and the greatest rock musician, and writer, and performer you've ever seen – and ALSO funny? As word started to spill out about the upcoming Judd Apatow produced comedy, "Walk Hard," we were mighty intrigued. A comedy riff on the recent spate of big screen music biopics? We're there! John C. Reilly singing in his own voice as the fictional Dewey Cox? Yes! "The Office" star Jenna Fischer as his leading lady? Sold! Judd Apatow wrote all about it in a recent column for MTV.

"I just shot a movie with John C. Reilly, that I wrote with Jake Kasdan, who directed the movie," Apatow said of the flick he's producing with the critically-beloved "Zero Effect" director behind the camera. "It's called 'Walk Hard,' and it's a goof on movies like 'Ray' and 'Walk the Line'.
