Bill and TedIt's Monday, which means the internet is basking in the glow of yesterday's brand new episode of "Game of Thrones." If you went anywhere near a computer in the past 24 hours, you'd know that everybody had something to say about the HBO epic, but we found some celebrity commentary that was a wee-bit outside of the mainstream perspective.

Meanwhile, "Water For Elephants" opened in a strong third place at this weekend's box office, but has garnered mixed reviews. While Hollywood's fickle critics are split, the celebrity consensus is overwhelmingly positive, at least with a sample size of two.

And you know how we told you that a "Bill and Ted 3" script was just weeks away from completion? Turns out that it's already done, and it's in co-star Alex Winter's hands. Station!

I'm @TravisHelwig and this is Twitter-Wood for April 25, 2011.

Hugh Hefner is Hollywood's greatest hero. When the aging Playboy Enterprises founder sees a good cause, he fights for it. That's exactly what happened when Hefner donated the crucial $900,000 needed in order to save the legendary Hollywood sign from becoming the site for new luxury homes and hotels. What a champ.

Truthfully, Hefner's heroism in this situation makes me wonder about some of the other great Hollywood catastrophes he would have been able to fix if given the chance — the fictional ones, of course! After the jump, here are some Hollywood endings that Hefner could have fixed. Read More...

Last Friday marked the birthday of Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy. A men's magazine which, as you know, everyone reads only for the articles.

In honor of Hef's birthday, noted film critic Roger Ebert tweeted an excellent photo from his archives: Hefner hanging out with Russ Meyer, Dolly Read and Cynthia Myers on the set of "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls." Meyer was one of the early photographers for Playboy, though he eventually made a name for himself in film with his campy sensibilities and proclivity for casting voluptuous women (see: "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls," "Mondo Topless"). Meyer was once contracted by recently deceased Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren to direct a film for the Pistols to star in. The director asked Roger Ebert to write the script; the result -- titled "Who Killed Bambi?" -- went unproduced, though the UK punk band did go on to star in their own movie: the mockumentary, "The Great Rock & Roll Swindle." Words of war and peace were had between Ice-T and Aimee Mann over the last 24 hours. In an exchange unlike any other I've seen since I started writing Twitter-Wood, the singer/songwriter (and "Big Lebowski" actress) questioned Ice's acting abilities in a tweet she probably would have preferred to leave private. Ice-T caught wind, though, because as most TW followers know, he as a small army in the Twitterverse.

In other posts, Roger Ebert earned my vote for Twitter Pic of the millenium with his birthday shout-out to Hugh Hefner. You can gaze upon it after the jump alongside thoughts about Robert Pattinson playing Kurt Cobain and Jackie Chan's birthday present from the Will Smith family. It's all in Twitter-Wood for April 9th, 2010. Read More...

I love when headlines write themselves. This is one of those posts. Because really, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton and Hugh Hefner gathered together for a snapshot pretty much says it all. Nicky snapped this shot, of what she called her "Trashy Lingerie collage." Where's the pic from, you ask? The Playboy Mansion, 'natch!

I'm not sure I'm clear on what's going on here though. Clearly, the ladies are enjoying themselves with the Hef. Really though, who doesn't have a good time at a Playboy Mansion party? What's confusing me is Paris. Notice how one of her eyes is missing? Why? Was she the victim of a poorly thrown dart? A sudden sibling spat? An overzealously swung cigarette? We'll likely never know for sure, but that doesn't mean you can enjoy the picture! Read More...

Everybody found somebody to take a picture with in today's Twitter-Wood feed. Ice-T was pal'n around with 50 Cent, Mary Lynn Rajskub from "24" saw her new co-star and former "Battlestar Galactica" actress Katee Sackhoff in the parking lot, and Nicky Hilton presented a shot of her and her sister Paris with Hef from last year.

In other posts, Jeremy Piven made it out to a screening of "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" and reflected on Heath Ledger's final performance there. Check out all of those out below along with Sarah Silverman, a shocked Larry King and how many "Pootie Tang" residual checks is takes to pay for an espresso. It's in the Twitter Report for October 7, 2009. Read More...
