That's right, "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" is just hitting theaters today but director Guillermo del Toro is already thinking about the future of the comic-to-film franchise. At least, he was when we caught up with him, telling us that a third pic would deal with "facing your destiny" (click here to watch all our interviews with the "Hellboy II" crew).
Check out Guillermo's thoughts below, and then tell us in the comments...will you be heading to the theater this weekend to check out Big Red himself? Are you psyched to see yet another glimpse into the creature-filled mind of del Toro?
Yesterday, we had a chance to visit with director Guillermo del Toro to talk about his latest film, "Hellboy II: The Golden Army," but we couldn't resist the opportunity to go digging for news on "The Hobbit" as well. So we put out the call to fans, asking them to submit their questions and we'd bring 'em along. And boy did they ever. Read Part I about what del Toro had to say regarding "The Hobbit."
But the biggest news? It came from a question I thought would be a joke.
"Who do I have to kill or sleep with to get a role as an extra?" user Mike Moore asked.
"Oh my god, well that's a good question only in that it's asked often," del Toro said, chuckling. "[But] I believe as the film comes to happen, in either of the two films, [fans] have a good chance of being there." Read more...
"Hellboy II" helmer Guillermo del Toro promised us more monsters when we spoke to him last year, and...well let's just say he kept his word. The man behind "Pan's Labyrinth" returns with a fantastical comic book film chockful of meticulously-constructed creatures as his demon superhero returns to fight the dark forces of evil. Check out the following photo gallery with a ton of exclusive photos highlighting the strange, wonderful world of del Toro's "Hellboy II: The Golden Army," hitting theaters July 11.

We first became enamored with Mezco Toyz back when we covered them during February's Toy Fair, where they showed us their toy lines for "The Spirit" and "Hellboy II: The Golden Army." Unfortunately, back then we weren't allowed to photograph what was probably their coolest offering of all...a massive, highly-detailed 18-inch figure of 'ol sawed-off devil horns himself, Hellboy, ripped from Guillermo del Toro's new movie.
Well, now we can. The company has given us three exclusive photos of the $70 statue, which drops the end of June and comes equipped with the coat, the Samaritan hand gun from the first film, and a new, 6-barrelled shotgun, along with twelve points of articulation.

Check out MezcoToyz.com for more info, and more pics after the jump. Read more...
Three years ago, we became acquainted not only with Abe Sapien and Hellboy, but also the red demon's fiery girlfriend Liz Sherman. Now, as we inch closer to the July 11 release of "Hellboy II: The Golden Army," Universal is debuting a first look at Liz (Selma Blair) in her return to action.
When we caught up with Blair recently on the film's Budapest set, the most noticeable things about the character were her shorter hairdo, newfound reliance on weaponry, and relationship-forwarding decision to shack up with Hellboy. Together, they'll be battling every monster that writer/director Guillermo del Toro can dream up, come next summer. In the meantime, keep checking back here and at the film's official site for sneak peeks at Abe and Hellboy in the next few days!
