Jason Bateman would like the "Hancock" filmmakers to know one thing: if/when a sequel gets underway, he's got a few ideas he'd like to throw their way. At least, that's what the star told us when he sat down for a live Q&A with MTV News held at Sony Style store in New York City. Chief among his proposals? "I can fly!" he enthused. Watch his chat on the subject below, and then click here to watch the rest of our discussion as we cover the Will Smith superhero film, "Arrested Development" and more.
Let me be perfectly blunt. I'm getting married in October and I'm positively thrilled but there is in fact another woman in my life. She's an Oscar-winning former model who likes to call me names like motherfu&*er and fu&*face. I'm not sure what it says about me that I take such pleasure in her treating me this way but...I mean it's Charlize Theron. Come on! Last March we had a chat that got a lot of play on the blogs because she quite humorously revealed that she'd never seen "The Hills." Check out our follow-up chat below to see if she's since caught up with LC and Heidi.
Are you as big a fan of Charlize's as I? Sound off below!
We mentioned it the other day but we'd be remiss if we didn't remind you one more time that Jason Bateman himself will be at the Sony store (550 Madison) in New York City tonight at 6pm. I'll be interviewing the "Hancock" and "Arrested Development" star and showing off clips from his soon to be released surefire blockbuster. The best part? The event is totally free! Just get there early because there isn't a ton of seating and it's going to be first come first served.
I'm sure I don't have to sell you on Bateman's wit, my loyal and discerning MTV Movies Blog audience. A good time will be had by all I'm sure. And be sure to bring your questions for Bateman. We're going to open it up to the audience for a good portion of the event. Hope to see you there!
Death. Taxes. A big Will Smith July 4th movie. Take it to the bank. We're just days away from the release of Smith's highly anticipated superhero flick, "Hancock" and we're thinking you're probably as curious about it as we are.
Well gang, if you're in the New York City area, we'd like to cordially invite you to a FREE event with "Hancock" star Jason Bateman. You know him. You love him. He'll be hilarious. We guarantee it. I'm going to be moderating a Q&A with the "Arrested Development" star at the Sony Style Store at 550 Madison Avenue on Tuesday, June 24th. It's at 6 p.m.. It's not a huge venue, and seating is first come, first served so get there early.
Jason is going to answer all of my AND YOUR questions, plus we'll take a sneak peek together at "Hancock" (yes, some cool clips will be shown!). Sound good? Of course it does. So come on out and bring your best Bateman questions! We'll get to as many as we can.

There's no doubt that Peter Berg is a director on the rise. You don't hand over the keys to a Will Smith superhero flick set for a July 4th release ("Hancock") to just anyone.
In 2007 Berg took Jaime Foxx, Jennifer Garner, and company through a frenetic action flick set in the Middle East, "The Kingdom." The flick performed decently at the box office (and phenomenally if you choose to compare it to other flicks that dealt with the Mid East region in some capacity) and now gets a second chance for your consideration on a newly released DVD. We caught up with Berg the other day to chat up the flick a bit.

Describing the upcoming Will Smith vehicle "Hancock" as "really funny and really dramatic," co-star Charlize Theron recently dished to MTV News about the tale of the homeless superhero. We spoke to numerous folks from the cast, as well as the film's director Peter Berg, so read all that here, and listen to Charlize's comments below.
