"'20,000 Leagues Under the Sea' is a really fine screenplay, based on the great Jules Verne novel," Raimi said of one of his upcoming producing efforts. "It's currently in search of the right director for the project."

Telling the tale of Captain Nemo and his adventures in the submarine Nautilus, "Leagues" would be getting its second take on the silver screen. "I'm a big fan of the first book, as well as the Disney movie that was made many years later in the 1950s," he explained.
