Although "Super 8" hits theaters nationwide tomorrow (or, really, today), several lucky people in Hollywood have already seen director J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg's long-awaited collaboration.
The movie had its grand premiere in Los Angeles last evening, drawing the likes of "Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof, "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau and more — and based on their responses on Twitter, the reaction was overwhelmingly positive.

Now this is a dream come true talent roster for geeks everywhere. Marvel is prepping a kid-friendly animated TV series for the Cartoon Network entitled "Super Hero Squad." Newcomers may not realize it, but the "Star Trek" franchise is rife with some truly bizarre casting choices, particularly within the film series. Murray Abraham… lots of folks you wouldn’t necessarily expect to see popping up in a sci-fi feature, particularly one with "Trek’s" devoted fanbase.
