The new "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" trailer has a lot to pick apart, but Warwick Davis hopes that you didn't miss him in his two incarnations as Filius Flitwick and Griphookwhile you were taking it all in.

And speaking of taking it all in, the "Eclipse" cast is doing just that this week. Both Gil Birmingham and Tinsel Korey tweeted about what they've been up to promoting the film, though Birmingham may now be going by the name Felix. You can find out what that's about after the jump along who wanted to wish Ray Harryhausen a happy birthday.

Some stars couldn't get enough of Tom Cruise last night at the MTV Movie Awards, some were trying desperately to enjoy the ceremony and keep up with the Lakers/Celtics NBA Finals game and others were just there to kick back and have fun. Even host Aziz Ansari, who had to be the busiest of all Twitter-Wood's citizens last night, found time to post.

"Twilight" cast members showed up in full force on stage and on their Twitter accounts as well. Reactions from Anna Kenrick, Gil Birmingham and Peter Facinelli can be found below. You'll also see a post-Best Villain win response from Tom Felton and some shout-outs he received, as well as a post-Awards shot with Snooki and the prize Donald Glover believes he should receive. It's all retweeted after the jump in an MTV Movie Awards Twitter-Wood Special. Read More...

Veteran's Day brought no shortage of veteran appreciation today in Twitter-Wood, prompting thanks and memories from across the board, as well as a personal note from "Twilight" actor Gil Birmingham.

Meanwhile, Jason Schwartzman's on his way to the NYC debut of "Fantastic Mr. Fox," which as a Wes Anderson follower, I am anxious to see myself this weekend. Another new release, "Precious," really got a hold of Tyrese Gibson, who said the film's been keeping him awake. Check out their thoughts along with pictures from Peter Facinelli and John Stamos and a Henry Winkler autograph to be jealous of after the jump. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 11, 2009. Read More...

There must have been a "New Moon"-related tweet mandate out today, because the faces of "Twilight" clogged my Twitter feed today. David Slade posted an "Eclipse" update, Peter Facinelli TwitPic'd from his makeup chair and BooBoo Stewart posted a photo op moment with Latoya Jackson. Even Gil Birmingham contributed an off-screen group shot.

Candid pics showed up from non-"Twilight"-ers as well, though. Ken Jeong, Sarah Silverman and Eli Roth are all prominently features in today's tweet mix, in addition to Rainn Wilson on Bill Cosby and Mark Webber's on-set shot from his new movie "The Lie." It's a photo-heavy day full of links in the Twitter-Wood report for October 20, 2009. Read More...

Warmoth's out again today. He hates me, you see. Really though, he busts his rear for this column and he gets a break whenever he wants it. The Twitter-Wood was relatively quiet today, but not so quiet that I've got nothing for you. Aubrey O'Day made some noise with a fairly scandalous TwitPic, the one that earned today's Twitter Pic of the Day honors. There were some strong runner-up contenders however from Danny Masterson and Fred Durst.

On the text tweet front, Amber Benson talks about her painful future as a roller derby girl, Rainn Wilson makes a startling observation, Michael McKean comes up with a brilliant movie idea and Ice-T addresses a very personal rumor. Plus, Gil Birmingham from the totally unpopular "Twilight" series brings an update from the set of "Eclipse." I'm @geminibros and this is your Twitter-Wood for October 2, 2009. Have a kickass weekend, y'all. Read More...

Gil BirminghamFROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Turn on the Mariners game and get out the fish fry, ’cause we’re celebrating “Twilight” actor Gil Birmingham’s 43rd birthday. Gil plays Jacob Black’s Quileute chief father Billy in the vampire saga — a role the actor is quite fond of. “Billy Black is an awesome character to play,” Gil told blog Twilighter’s Hub. “We are both down with the kids and we both try to keep it real. An actor always digs deep inside himself to draw out the personal experiences that bring life to the character he plays. I am not Billy, but there is a part of him in me and vice versa.”

To honor Gil on his special day, and to get to know the actor behind the role, here are a few fun facts about the Native American Comanche from his newly launched website (Us Billy fans have to have place to go to learn more about him, right?):

Tom FeltonIt's a chatty week in Hollywood with "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" premiering and Independence Day party-goers relating their experiences at P. Diddy's White Party over the weekend. Still, with Michael Jackson's funeral on Tuesday, the late King of Pop's name is still fresh on the fingertips of many Tweeters, including Elizabeth Taylor and Tyrese Gibson. Yet another high-profile death sparked reactions in the Twitter-Wood feed as well today, however, with the passing of former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara. Errol Morris, who directed the Oscar-winning 2003 film "The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara" offered his thoughts.

Elsewhere, Tom Felton continued his own dedicated Twitter coverage leading up the "Half-Blood Prince" premiere tomorrow night, and actor Gil Birmingham tweeted a public RSVP saying that he won't be able to make Comic-Con in San Diego this year. Check out all of this and much more below in the Twitter-Wood report for July 6, 2009. Read More...
