Brett Ratner hasn't been quiet in the past about his enthusiasm for the new film "Catfish," but you probably didn't know how many times he's watched it. I won't tell you whether to believe him or not but you can find out what he claimed yesterday on his Twitter account.

In other topics, Paris Hilton made this news this morning after reaching a plea deal in her Las Vegas cocaine case. Brian Lynch identified who he thinks the lucky ones are in the whole story. His explanation, as well as 50 Cent's story of why he named his dog Oprah Winfrey and some hints about the upcoming Halloween episode of "Community" await you below.

Wes Craven must be a fan of method acting, judging from the way he's been treating Hayden Panettiere and Emma Roberts on the "Scream 4" set. He documented his endeavors in a tweet yesterday, but we'll have to wait until the film comes out to see if he helped them get into their parts.

Elsewhere, New York Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez was arrested on Wednesday night. No matter what happens, though, at least one Hollywood writer is sticking up for him. You can find out who that is after the jump, as well as what Arnold Schwarzenegger has been getting up to with the "Expendables" cast and what may have killed "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" director Edgar Wright by the time you read this.

Hip-hop and jazz innovator Guru, who was best known as half of the duo Gang Starr, shocked a noticeable contingent in Twitter-Wood today as news of his death at the age of 43 traveled around. Ice-T, Andy Milonakis and Mark Webber were among those posting condolences.

Kevin Spacey had some good fortune to tweet about though. Apparently he's been waiting out travel delays over the last week caused by the volcano in Iceland, but finally got mobile again. You can check out what he had to say after the jump along with how "Toy Story 3" won't be like the next iPhone and what Chris Kattan thinks Al-Qaeda's favorite movie is in Twitter-Wood for April 20th, 2010. Limp Bizkit followers probably already know that Neil Diamond and Fred Durst have long been chatty on Twitter, but Diamond's invitation to collaborate on the new Bizkit album looks like it's been responded to in kind with an open door to Diamond's studio for Durst.

Lots of other Twitter-Wood citizens had pressing things on their minds today, too, though. For instance, "Toy Story 3" has four weeks left before it's ready, according to director Lee Unkrich, Bruce Campbell loves of playing with his own action figures, and Jim Carrey has warm wishes for everyone celebrating Easter this weekend. It's a very festive report today that comes out of Twitter-Wood for April 2nd, 2010. Read More...

The battle to overtake Justin Bieber in Twitter's trending topics rankings gained two determined competitors with the new "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" trailer and John Cusack's relentless support of "Hot Tub Time Machine." Both films got some face time with Twitter, but Bieber has thus far stayed the course.

In other tweets, Jessica Simpson and Fred Durst mourned the loss of famed rock photographer Jim Marshall, and Simpson posted some shots of his work that she's collected over the years. See for yourself below, where you can also find out about a runaway monkey in Florida, see who else has been trying out Chatroulette and read Aziz Ansari's thoughts on Chris Evans as Captain America. Jamie Chung saw this coming a week ago. A 4.4 earthquake hit Los Angeles this morning, and I though she didn't seem to notice on her account, it registered with other faces in Twitter-Wood like Samm Levine, Alison Brie and Tyrese Gibson.

Aziz Ansari probably slept through it, though, as his recent postings indicate he was up late watching the "Twilight" movies. You can check out his reaction to a "New Moon" spoiler below. After the jump, you can also read Fred Durst's manicure advice for Tyra Banks and a tip for Best Buy from Steve Agee. It's in Twitter-Wood for 16th, 2010. Read More...

"Valentine's Day" saw its fair share of haters in Twitter-Wood last month, despite the enormous number of citizens who starred in the film. Eli Roth took a stand in defense of Taylor Swift's performance, though. I should mention his next half dozen tweets about the film were fairly sarcastic. This may affect the amount of sincerity you attribute to his words.

In other tweets, Emma Roberts posted her own little valentine to Olympic snowboarder and Gold Medalist Shaun White. I think she wants him to call her. You can decide for yourself after jump where you'll find Lee Unkrich's Oscar plans for the weekend, a picture of the Limp Bizkit mug Fred Durst drinks from while play video games and very fine homemade Snooki costume. It's all in Twitter-Wood for March 5th, 2010. Read More...

Twitter-Wood got down to business over the last 24 hours, with Fred Durst TwitPic'ing from the recording studio, Miranda Cosgrove clocking in some hours at the beach for a video, and Alex Meraz proving that he giving his all during that InStyle photoshoot he mentioned yesterday.

Jessica Simpson, meanwhile, decided to do some house cleaning. And while Brian Lynch hasn't made it around to seeing "Alice in Wonderland" yet, that hasn't stopped him from forming an opinion. Scope out pictures and posts about all of these happenings, as well a "Community" cast photo op after the jump, because this is the best that Twitter-Wood had to offer for March 4th 2010. An "Avatar" scene delving into the sex lives of the Na'vi may not have made it into the film's final cut, but it did make it into a script posted online by Fox, and Richard Kelly was on Twitter today to post his reaction.

In other tweets, Edward Norton ended a long Twitter sabbatical after wrapping up a vacation in Indonesia. "New Moon" actor Alex Meraz, meanwhile, was prepping for his own getaway, where hope hopes to issue a challenge to Mickey Mouse. You can check that out after the jump along with a shot of Fred Durst hanging out with Staind frontman Aaron Lewis, a hip-hop-themed soda fountain and Demi Moore with her favorite monkey. This has been a bad holiday season for untimely deaths around Hollywood, and none have been more unexpected than actress Brittany Murphy's on Sunday. Alyssa Milano, Peter Facinelli, Paris Hilton and virtually everyone else with a Twitter account associated with the entertainment industry has something to say about Murphy, and there's a rundown below.

The other big nationwide news of the past weekend has been the massive snowstorm pounding the East Coast. "Twilight" actress Christian Serratos was one of those who had her travel plans derailed by the frozen precipitation dump, on Washington, D.C. You can find those posts after jump along with Fred Durst's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" clan name and Neil Gaiman's undead lawn ornament. It's in the Twitter-Wood report for December 21, 2009. (Editor's note: You'll see some crossover between this post and our earlier Brittany Murphy tweet round-up. That's okay... this is a day to honor the young actress's memory.) Read More...
