It comes as no surprise that supporting cast members in "New Moon" would try to splinter off their own factions in the endless "Team Edward vs. Team Jacob" debate, but it looks like BooBoo Stewart's got at least one backer for Team Seth, judging from his TwitPic upload today. Tinsel Korey, meanwhile, remains firmly behind Team Jacob.

In non-"Twilight" posting today, Danny DeVito had a nice showing for his birthday last night, even if his picture wasn't high enough quality to make Twitter Pic of the Day. Neil Patrick Harris posted a new shot from the "How I Met Your Mother Set" and David Wain contributed a courtside view from the Lakers game. Check out all of those after the jump where you'll also find out which actress enjoys dancing to Lady Gaga and which actor claims he's the only one who didn't audition for "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 18, 2009. Read more...

Doogie! Sorry, I won't do that again. It's hard though, to be someone who grew up in the '80s and '90s, not to think of Neil Patrick Harris as Doogie Howser, MD, the boy genius doctor. Such a simpler time. Harris has become so much more than that in recent years, and my hat's off to him for shedding his child actor image. I still can't erase those first memories of his time on TV.

In today's Daily TwitPic we see Harris hanging with the lovely Felicia Day, a gifted performer who is associated with one of his more recent successes. The two starred together in "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog," a three-act comedic web series conceived by Joss Whedon and his brothers Zack and Jed. Enjoy the cute picture of would-be supervillain Dr. Horrible and his doomed love Penny, reunited. Read more...

The "last day on the battlefield" that David Slade tweeted about must have ended well, since Christian Serratos tweeted triumphantly that "Eclipse" filming wrapped in Vancouver yesterday. Elsewhere, he co-star Jodelle Ferland struggled with her Twitter icon after accidentally covering up her face with a lemon. Such have been the trials and tribulations in the Twitter world of "Twilight."

Miranda Cosgrove, meanwhile, didn't seem to be struggling with the new pair of glasses she TwitPic'd a look at for her followers to evaluate. Nor did Felicia Day seem to have any trouble with her new Twitter functionality on Xbox Live, which she appears to have installed. Check all of those out, along with some Soupy Sales memorial headlines, Paris Hilton's Hello Kitty diamonds and Emmy Rossum's call for Halloween costume ideas. They're all waiting after the jump in the Twitter-Wood report for October 23, 2009. Read more...

--First up Around the Blogosphere today is a list from Rotten Tomatoes. This is pretty common knowledge, but in case you didn't know: Rotten Tomatoes is a review aggregator. They collect reviews from around the biz and assign ratings to identify how "Fresh" or "Rotten" a movie is. Well now they've compiled a list running through the worst reviewed movies of the last 10 years. Yes, "Battlefield Earth" is among them. (Rotten Tomatoes)

--Next up is a great post that I missed last week from Cinematical's Monika Bartyzel. It's a list, part of the site's Cinematical Seven series, that runs through the "Best Big-Screen Geek Girls." To be fair, one of the players actually comes from the small screen: Felicia Day, of "The Guild" fame. Monika states right out front that Day inspired the list, so her presence is properly justified. Joss WhedonOK, so we know Joss Whedon is busy with Buffy (as a comic book) -- but what about all his other projects? We asked the man himself for an update.

"Goners" -- Whedon once told us that he was writing a script for a movie, which he called a "very personal thing about human connection and questioning whether there is such a thing at all." It was to be an original story, a horror fantasy, "a little darker than I'm used to," about a young woman who gains some powers. "Not something I've written about before," he joked, "but I'm excited to try some new territory." Universal, however, has not been quite as excited just yet, as "Goners" "has gotten backburnered," Whedon said, meaning it's still in development. "I still have hope for it, though."

"Cabin in the Woods" -- Instead, Whedon moved on to a new movie project, which he co-wrote with "Buffy" alum and "Cloverfield" scribe Drew Goddard. "It's genius, it's funny," Goddard said. "It's got a harder and darker edge, but it's also got classic Whedon qualities. It'll rip your heart out and be heartfelt at the same time." Enough with the hype, what's it about? "There's a reason the title is so straightforward," Goddard teased. "It's its own sub-genre, the cabin in the woods, and this is sort of our take on it. It's fresh and new." Read more...
