Edward NortonLooks like we'll see something of an "Avengers" throwdown on the set of "Bourne Legacy."

Edward Norton, who previously played Bruce Banner in Marvel's "Incredible Hulk," is in negotiations to join the Matt Damon-less continuation of the "Bourne" franchise as the film's antagonist. He'll star opposite leading man Jeremy Renner, cast as Hawkeye in "Avengers," giving the two actors a chance to slug it out on the big-screen, as they won't have that opportunity in Marvel's superhero team-up movie; Norton was famously booted from the Hulk role, with Mark Ruffalo coming in to take his place.

Get the rest of today's casting news past the jump, including new additions to "Rock of Ages" and a brand new passion project from "Bridesmaids" star Kristen Wiig!

Strange times. Pigs are most definitely not flying, not here in New York City at any rate, but this Bieber/Guggenheim collaboration really is happening. And why not? Bieber is a towering figure in the current pop culture landscape. Guggenheim is a top-level documentary filmmaker. Twitter-Wood voiced a wide variety of perspectives on the Academy Awards ceremony last night, and some posters like Ben Stiller and Lee Unkrich tweeted photos as well. Both of those guys showed off some privileged looks at the Oscars, but as you'll see below, one view was worth significantly more celebration.

Emma Roberts' crush on Shaun White came closer to resulting in a face-to-face meeting, but you'll have to read on below to find out what happened. Tom FeltonIt's a chatty week in Hollywood with "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" premiering and Independence Day party-goers relating their experiences at P. Diddy's White Party over the weekend. Still, with Michael Jackson's funeral on Tuesday, the late King of Pop's name is still fresh on the fingertips of many Tweeters, including Elizabeth Taylor and Tyrese Gibson. Yet another high-profile death sparked reactions in the Twitter-Wood feed as well today, however, with the passing of former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara. Errol Morris, who directed the Oscar-winning 2003 film "The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara" offered his thoughts.

Elsewhere, Tom Felton continued his own dedicated Twitter coverage leading up the "Half-Blood Prince" premiere tomorrow night, and actor Gil Birmingham tweeted a public RSVP saying that he won't be able to make Comic-Con in San Diego this year. Gwyneth PaltrowProtests, marches, and link-passing have taken over Twitter following last week's contested election results in Iran, and the Twitter-Wood feed has been no exception. Alyssa Milano has been particularly persistent with her #iranelection-tagged tweets, and directors Errol Morris, James Gunn, and Jon Favreau all logged on to comment on the events in Tehran.

Meanwhile, a few tweets squeaked through with details from the "Iron Man 2" and "Casino Jack" sets, as well as from Wil Wheaton's guest appearance on the TNT series "Leverage." Also, Jonah Hill joins Kat Dennings and Nick Jasenovec in doubting the legitimacy of the controversial Michael Cera Twitter account that I've mentioned before.
