Lil Wayne was a hot topic for conversation on and off of Twitter today now that he's out of lock-up. Donald Glover hopes someone was able to get a picture, while Marlon Wayans sounded skeptical, and David Faustino expects big things for Weezy tonight at his post-prison release party.
Halloween costume pictures have still be showing up as well, and you can find Billy Burke and Jason Mewes sharing what they wore after the jump. They're there along with Stephen Colbert's thoughts on Prop 19 failing in California, Elizabeth Banks with a face from "Lost" and the shooting location where you might have seen Emmy Rossum working today.
I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is Twitter-Wood for November 4, 2010. Read more...

Neil Gaiman's readers know that he's a smart guy. He proved himself once more today, however, by securing plane tickets to the U.K. through two different routes, just in case the volcano ash becomes an issue. The recent eruption in Iceland has been a pain for main a Twitter-Wood citizen over the last week, and I think volcanoes may get overlooked by a lot of them during Earth Day commemorations tomorrow. Then again, some tweeters like Brian Lynch don't seem too enthusiastic about Earth Day anyway.
In other posts, there are photos all over the place today with Amy Smart getting a shot with Rachelle LeFevre on her birthday, Tom Hanks getting setting for his new film "Larry Crowne" and Emmy Rossum hanging out with some wild animals. Check it all out below along with pics of David Letterman and a former member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers member John Frusciante in Twitter-Wood for April 21st, 2010. Read more...

Twitter-Wood had heaps of knowledge to impart today, and movie trivia collectors will want to take note of the "Clash of the Titans"/"Hot Fuzz" connection cited by Edgar Wright, as well as Emmy Rossum's real name. That's right, Emmy is short for something else, and I never would have had the spelling right in a million years were it not for her Twitter account.
In other conversations, Ricky Martin's sexual orientation predictably became a celebrity topic of choice after he announced on his website that he is "a fortunate homosexual man." Check out who was interested, who wasn't and who caught a shot of Fergie at a Black Eyed Peas concert. It all shows up in Twitter-Wood for March 30th, 2010. Read more...

Bankruptcy rumors about Blockbuster were not met with sympathy from one filmmaker in the Twitter-Wood feed. Troma Entertainment's Lloyd Kaufman took the opportunity to sound off about his long-running dissatisfaction with the video rental giant, and he doesn't wish them well.
Elsewhere, Simon Pegg has been pushing forward with filming on "Burke and Hare," and he mentioned a scene location today that the movie will share with "Gladiator." Emmy Rossum geared for some March Madness basketball action, and Kat Dennings bought a spiffy new pair of boots. You can check those out after the jump along some of the weirdest sock monkey headgear ever to the grace this column in Twitter-Wood for March 19th, 2010. Read more...

Not everyone in Twitter-Wood chose to wear green for St. Patrick's Day, but some, like Kat Dennings, had to confront pinch mobs as a direct result of their decisions. Others, like P. Diddy and Kim Kardashian embraced the holiday, wearing green and identifying their Irish heritage.
Jon Favreau, meanwhile, still has a little bit of effects work left to do on "Iron Man 2," and he's still updating his Twitter account right into his last days on the project. You can find out what he's doing, see what Emmy Rossum thought of "Justified" on FX and see pictures that I can only assume include Selena Gomez's bowling team and a popular nickname for Christopher Mintz-Plasse on the "Kick-Ass" set. It's all in Twitter-Wood for March 17th, 2010. Read more...

Twitter Pic of the Day had a hefty lineup of contestants today, given Arnold Schwarzenegger's photo op with the Olympic torch for Vancouver, Emma Roberts' "Valentine's Day" shot with Jessica Alba in London and Emmy Rossum just hanging out on a boat. In the end, I had to tip the Twitter-Wood hat to Jodelle Ferland, though, who I am 90-percent sure sketched a picture of her "Twilight" series co-star Taylor Lautner.
Another member of the "Twilight" family, Anna Kendrick, showed up in the feed today too. You can find out what she has to be sad about since getting nominated for an Oscar after the jump, as well as what Jaime King looks like pregnant and how Eli Roth feels about "The Last Exorcism" not playing at South By Southwest. It's all in Twitter-Wood for February 12, 2010. Read more...

Twitter gained another surprise guest this week with William H. Macy testing the tweet waters. He and Emmy Rossum have been detailing their work on a Showtime series called "Shameless," which I hadn't heard about previously but will definitely be keeping tabs on now that I know both of them are involved.
And speaking of involvement, "Twilight" actress Tinsel Korey will be helping out MTV's "Hope for Haiti" telethon tonight, and she sounds pumped. Check out those retweets and more after the jump, including a bitter farewell to a cactus by Frankie Muniz, John Stamos' shout-out to Artie Lange and Dane Cook on UPS. It's all in Twitter-Wood for January 22, 2010. Read more...

An earthquake in Haiti that reportedly topped 7.0 on the Richter scale shocked everyone on and off Twitter, with many linking to donation sites and posting hopeful thoughts. Rainn Wilson pondered a personal connection to those he visited recently.
In the U.S., Team Conan has been amassing supporters this week after the "Tonight Show" announced he wouldn't accept a move to the 12:05 slot to accommodate Jay Leno for NBC. Larry King and Dax Shepard both sided with a third party, though, in the Conan vs. Leno debate. Check out those posts below along with postmortem micro-review of last night's "American Idol," Kat Dennings on "Thor" and Emmy Rossum's surprise encounter in Whole Foods. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for January 13, 2010. Read more...

News that "Poltergeist" actress Zelda Rubinstein has been taken off of life support didn't go unnoticed by horror movie fans in the Twitter-Wood community this week. The sad revelation caught the attention of both Richard Kelly and Jeff Katz (on his birthday, nonetheless), and I definitely echo those sentiments to her family.
In other posts, attempted underwear bomb from last week is still a trending topic among tweeters. Kevin Nealon was among those contemplating the ongoing investigation yesterday. Catch those thoughts after the jump along with Brian Lynch on Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner, Christina Applegate and Emmy Rossum on James Cameron's work in "Avatar" and more in the Twitter-Wood report for December 30, 2009. Christian Serratos was talking about going to Greece yesterday, but last night she was post pictures from her trip to the White House, where she visited a cardboard Christmas tree.
In other tweets, Mindy Kaling saw "Avatar," and she and fellow "Office" cast member Rainn Wilson ran a hypothetical question about how Dwight would react to Na'vi. Click on past the jump to see what they predicted along with what Adam Duritz gave Emmy Rossum for Christmas, whose Wii workout game Diablo Cody has been using and what Neil Gaiman security pat-down he had to endure. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for December 29, 2009.
