As you Twilighters know very well, the cast of "New Moon" are working their way around the country in a series of public appearances at shopping malls. We'll be covering them all as best we can; you can expect pictures at the very least from most, if not all, stops. The latest batch comes from Fairfax, Virginia, where Edi Gathegi and Jamie Campbell Bower held court at a Hot Topic while a legion of fans showed up to express their enthusiasm. Click the pic below to be whisked off to our newly updated image gallery.
This week, MTV.com has run a veritable cornucopia of interview snippets with members of the "New Moon" cast. We'll be talking to the stars -- Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner -- tomorrow (along with everyone else), so think of this week's round of questioning as a palette cleanser, something to whet your appetite in advance of the main course we'll be dishing out over the coming weeks leading to the November 20 release of "New Moon."
MTV reporter Larry Carroll probes cast members Billy Burke, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kellan Lutz, Edi Gathegi and Nikki Reed on a variety of topics, from the musical tastes to what they're spending their "Twilight" paychecks on. Hit the jump for highlights and links to the full articles. Read more...
As any Twilighter knows, vampires sparkle in the sunlight as though they have diamonds embedded in their skin. "Twight" author Stephenie Meyer's vampires do at least. That's the one big regret "New Moon" actor Edi Gathegi, who plays Laurent, has as his character bids farewell to the series. I'm not going to spoil it for those who haven't read the book, but suffice to say that Laurent isn't in any condition to come to the party in "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn."
The actor, who appeared in New Jersey this weekend for an official Summit/Creation Entertainment "Twilight" convention, is nonetheless happy about his work in the first two movies and thankful for the time he's had. "Honestly, perspective," he said. "I'm happy I'm in 'Twilight.' I'm happy I made it to 'New Moon.' Things could be worse." Read more...
By now you've surely read the news that "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke will be taking on a contemporized version of William Shakespeare's "Hamlet," and the Emile Hirsch has been tapped for the starring role. Hardwicke credits Hirsch for the story idea, which brings Hamlet's story "to a small East Coast liberal arts college where Hamlet's father is the president." The story will open with Hirsch's character returning home to attend dear old dad's funeral.
That's really all we know so far. Hardwicke will direct, once she's finished writing the script with Ron Nyswaner. Hirsch will star, though the contemporized setting could mean a shift away from the name 'Hamlet.' The character is universally known however, as is the rest of "Hamlet"'s colorful cast. And seeing as how Hardwicke is tapped in to all of these hot, young stars after her work on "Twilight," we can't help but wonder who among them she might tap for the other major roles. Read more...
"Twilight" stars Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi seem to be taking a few days off from their vampire life. And, if you're going to take a break from filming one of the most anticipated films of the fall, you might as well go to beautiful Australia. The boys were in town for the release of the "Twilight" DVD, and they greeted fans at a JB Hi Fi in Sydney.

(Check out more photos from the event in our photo gallery for the Sydney event here.)
What scenes do you think they could be filming back in Canada that these two were free to greet Australian Twilighters? Discuss in the comments below!
As everyone and their uncle knows, "Twilight" comes out on DVD tomorrow. As excited Twilighters are at the chance to watch and rewatch the film 100 more times, folks are probably just as excited to delve into the assorted bonus features that the disc will contain.
Just as excited as fans are the film's stars. When we caught up with Edi Gathegi and Nikki Reed to discuss the DVD release, they couldn't contain their enthusiasm at being able to watch the deleted scene. Check out our interview in the video below, and then click here to see exclusive clips from the "Twilight" DVD.
We haven't heard a peep from the "Twilight" cast on the rumors that Dakota Fanning is being considered to play Jane in "New Moon." But, last night at Dakota's "Push" premiere actions spoke louder than words.
Now, let me be clear that this doesn't officially mean anything, but when almost the entire supporting cast of "Twilight" shows up to the premiere of "Push," which stars a certain blond haired starlet, it has to mean something! Right?
At the very least, it displays solidarity in their preference that Dakota get the role over Lucy Hale. Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Rachelle LeFevre and Edi Gathegi were all in attendance last night in Los Angeles, and although they didn't pose for photos with the "Push" star, they were all smiles and posed with each other. (Take a peek at select photos after the jump, and check out the whole "Push" premiere photo gallery here.) Read more...
Last week we brought you the very first clip from the upcoming horror film "My Bloody Valentine 3-D," and now we're back with a second helping. This time we're in the sheriff's office with "Twilight" star Edi Gathegi, who receives a potentially gruesome package.
Watch the exclusive clip below, and click after the jump to watch our other scene. "My Bloody Valentine 3-D" hits theaters January 16th.

It’s always nice when good things happen to good people – so, after spending much of the past year following the cast of “Twilight,” we can’t help but be happy for hard-working Hollywood talents like Catherine Hardwicke, Peter Facinelli and the others who recently enjoyed the greatest success of their careers with the record-setting opening of “Twilight.”
Another such star is 29-year-old Edi Gathegi, a veteran supporting player on TV (“House”) and in movies (“Gone Baby Gone”), who is just now coming into his own as the nomadic “Twilight” vampire Laurent. Naturally, after the box-office results came pouring in, MTV was eager to catch up with the affable actor to get his reaction.
“I feel amazing,” Gathegi gushed. “It’s wonderful to be part of a hugely successful opening.” Read more...
One of the most interesting phenomena of the past few years has been the rise in Hollywood's box-office prognosticators, people who make a living predicting how much a film like "Quantum of Solace" will make during its opening weekend. And in this time of perceived predictability, there are few pleasures as great for a movie fan as watching a film like "Borat" or "The Passion of the Christ" come out and make those people look like... well, they're not very good at their jobs.
This week's "Twilight" Tuesday takes you to last night's premiere and afterparty for the latest film to confound the prognosticators. Although few had given the movie much of a chance to win its weekend until recently, now several are predicting that it could beat Disney's talking-dog cartoon "Bolt," and wild guesses have the $37 million film pulling in anywhere from $20 million to $60 million or more.
With "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke having gone on record saying that the film must make $150 million for its sequels to become a reality, such inside-baseball talk has suddenly become a matter that concerns every "Twilight" fan. So naturally, the talk on the red carpet last night kept turning back to the stars' optimistic uncertainty.
