Ah, Eddie Izzard. Where would we be without your hilarious comic stylings? I don't know what you're expecting from today's Daily TwitPic from that tough to decipher headline, but the truth is actually not quite as strange as it might seem. Izzard who is (or was, when the pic was taken) running his 39th marathon, noted that the route took him through the town of... Bunny. Since that's a funny name for a town, he posed in front of the sign.

What's great about this pic is that Izzard is holding a flag. Anyone who's seen his classic stand-up performance in "Dressed to Kill" knows what flags mean: they are (his idea, not mine) what the British used during the age of imperialism to claim a land. Dane Cook has a proposal today for Ellen DeGeneres' replacement on "Ellen," now that she's going to be busy judging on "American Idol." Check it out, and see what you think. Cook leads the Twitter-Wood playlist today, right ahead of "Sorority Row" star Leah Pipes and Selena Gomez, who misses Freddie Prinze Jr.'s TV show "Freddie."

Eddie Izzard, Ice-T and previously featured photo subject Steve Agee all entered the running for the Twitter Pic of the Day today -- and though only one could come out on top, I've ranked them below, eventually giving Izzard the break because, well, he's run 39 marathons now, and that's worth acknowledgement. After all, how many have you run lately? Congrats to him, and congrats to you for getting to read the Twitter-Wood report for September 10, 2009. Read More...

Russell BrandWarmoth's out, so I'm stepping in to cover today's Twitter-Wood beat. It's pretty daunting, manning this great ship Twitter-Wood. Brian has done a kickass job of turning this feature into a daily destination for a lot of people. And since he's not here, I feel compelled to give props where props are due. It ain't easy mining hundreds of celeb Tweets for worthwhile things to share. I would encourage you all to shout out Brian in future Twitter-Wood comments sections.

Today's feed features a cryptic message from comedian Eddie Izzard and a truth bomb sponsored by none other than Donnie Wahlberg. There also a hilarious one-liner from Russell Brand and comments from Ice T about his time spent yesterday with the video game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." All that plus some terrifying links from Wil Wheaton and Ryan Seacrest -- but for totally different reasons -- in today's Twitter-Wood, for July 16, 2009. Read More...
