It looks like Jeremy Irons will have another scene stealing dark role to add to his filmography. But how will "Appaloosa" stack up against "Die Hard with a Vengeance" and "Reversal of Fortune"?
"Eastern Promises" star Viggo Mortensen told me this week that Irons has signed on to play "the very colorful bad guy" in the forthcoming Western to be directed by Ed Harris. Calling the film "a pretty hardcore story," Mortensen told me he's a lawman in the film and plays the partner of Harris who also stars. Renee Zellweger also appears in the flick set to begin shooting soon in New Mexico.
