By now, we’ve all seen the hilarious videos over at “Funny or Die” that have sometimes-good-but-often-bad-moviemaker Denis Leary looking back on the high and low points of his two decades in Hollywood. While breezing through the 47 movies on his resume, Leary came across the 1995 Disney bomb “Operation Dumbo Drop.”
“I tell most people it wasn’t me, it was Willem Dafoe,” Leary insisted. “Dafoe denies this, but it’s not me – it’s Willem Dafoe. I never saw it. Why would I see it? I’m not in it. I mean, I like Dafoe, but I’m not gonna see every movie Dafoe makes.”
