LostJokes about the Rapture have come and gone, but a very real crisis is ongoing in Joplin, Missouri as a devastating tornado tore through the Midwest over the weekend. Movie stars, writers and directors are weighing in on Twitter with pointers on how you can help with disaster relief.

In less grim news, today marks the one year anniversary of the "Lost" series finale, causing many members of the show as well as onlookers to reflect back on what was undoubtedly one of the most controversial conclusions in television history.

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel became a hot topic right after Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley announced this week that he wouldn't run for re-election next year. Michael McKean, meanwhile, was insightful enough to ask if Emanuel's path would trigger a parallel move on the part of his brother Ari, the inspiration for Jeremy Piven's "Entourage" character.

Elsewhere in Twitter-Wood, movies are being made and released as usual. Tyrese Gibson continued his updates about "Transformers 3," while Brian Lynch looked ahead to the new "Resident Evil" this weekend, and photos of Nina Dobrev on the "Vampire Diaries" set, Denise Richards in a cheerleader outfit and Gary Sinise thanking his Twitter followers showed up.

Justin Bieber shout-outs show up on Twitter more frequently than the Fail Whale, but Marlon Wayans singing the pop star's praises was something a bit out of the ordinary. Apparently the actor's daughter is quite a fan. And speaking of fans willing to do crazy things (you'll understand when you read the tweet), this is Comic-Con week in San Diego. That means the great Twitter-Wood migration is underway to the entertainment industry's epic annual nerd gathering.

You can find out who's en route, as well as why Denise Richards thinks she looks like a porn star, who Helena Mattsson has been hanging out with and what an "Eclipse" actor thought of "Inception."

Horror aficionado Eli Roth applied his knowledge to the Mel Gibson situation this week, and made a diagnosis, as well as a treatment recommendation. James Urbaniak was also captivated by the situation, but had more questions than answers.

In other discussion topics, "The Hills" watchers came out of the woodwork to sound off about the show's conclusion. You can find out were Denise Richards and Frankie Muniz stand on that topic below. Click on down and you will also find some opinions on Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston's reported engagment, as well as Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem's reported marriage, and a "Cowboys and Aliens" tweet from Jon Favreau.

Ice-T has established credibility as a gamer. Somewhere along the line, he also became a regular resource for new game reviews, and he's been asked on Twitter just what he thinks of Rockstar Games' "Red Dead Redemption." Today, it received his approval, so if you were awaiting such news to buy it, there you are.

In other tweets, Amy Smart revealed her long-harbored aversion to microwaves. I clicked on her link, and now instant oatmeal is kind of giving me the heebie jeebies. Find out if you're scared, too, down below along with a picture of the Peabody-winning "Modern Family" cast, Eliza Dushku on going back to school, Olivia Wilde's affection for the iPad and David Slade's case for Muse. It's all in Twitter-Wood for May 19, 2010. Read More...

UPDATE: Internet weirdness left this post out of yesterday's publish, despite the fact that it WAS actually published. So... enjoy your day late Twitter-Wood, and keep an eye out for TODAY'S Twitter-Wood later!

Super Saver may have won the 2010 Kentucky Derby, but Fran Drescher won today's Twitter Pic of the Day with her Audrey Hepburn homage and modest hat for the event. Rain was not enough to scare her away from the race or the camera, it would appear.

A few tweets in the feed were decidedly less upbeat, though, as word broke that Oscar-nominated actress Lynn Redgrave passed away. An array of post from Alyssa Milano and Brody Stevens to Virginia Madsen and Denise Richards shared Twitter-Wood's collective reactions to her death. You can read a few of them after the jump, where you'll also find a quick update on "The Last Airbender" and Ashton Kutcher's advice to potential iPad buyers. Sylvester Stallone has been nominated for 29 Razzie awards, dishonoring his career as an actor, director and screenwriter. Of those, he's "won" ten, including Worst Actor of the Decade (1980s) and Worst Actor of the Century (20th). Now he's expanding his reach to Indian cinema, having appeared as himself in a recent Bollywood production titled "Kambakkht Ishq" (aka "Incredible Love" or "Damn Love"), which has earned eight nominations, including one for Worst Film, for that film industry's equivalent of the Razzies, the Golden Kela Awards.

Also appearing in the same film, about an Indian stuntman in Hollywood, is Denise Richards, who received a Worst Supporting Actress Razzie for "The World is Not Enough" (she was also nominated with Pierce Brosnan for Worst Screen Couple after that James Bond installment). It would seem the two Razzie vets are mucking things up in Bollywood now. Together, they are nominated for something called the "Baawra ho gaya hai ke Award," which The Hollywood Reporter loosely translates as the "Have You Lost It? Award." Read More...

Earlier today, we brought you an early edition of Twitter-Wood packed chock-full of celebrity praise for James Cameron's sci-fi epic, "Avatar." It's a much more tragic set of circumstances that brings me back to you with another Twitter-Wood early edition.

"Clueless" star Brittany Murphy left us suddenly over the weekend, the victim of a heart attack at the too-young age of 32. The breaking news resulted in an outpouring of grief and sympathy for Murphy's family from around the celebrity Twittersphere. I'll let the people who knew her take it from here... Read More...

Everyone makes mistakes. Even celebrities (especially celebrities?). Some of those errors in judgment are more permanent than others, like getting a tattoo of your significant other's name only to later break up. D'oh!

That's what happened to Denise Richards, who you've most recently seen on the E! reality series "Denise Richards: It's Complicated" (its second season ended in July, no word on a third). Fortunately for Richards, she's got resourceful friends. The actress hit up her pal Kat Von D, noted tattoo artist and start of the "LA Ink" reality series, to fix the offending body mark. Kat came through with a very tasteful Tinkerbell-like fairy, which you can check out in today's Daily TwitPic after the jump. Read More...

Ice-T had some harsh words for Bill O'Reilly today in his Twitter feed following O'Reilly's displeasure on FOX News regarding this week's episode of "Law & Order: SVU." In addition to dropping an F-bomb a few hours ago, the actor expressed his full support for writer Dick Wolf, who O'Reilly lashed out at for using his name in an unflattering manner on the show.

Elsewhere in Twitter-Wood, "Eclipse" director David Slade came out of hiding with an update on how the film is coming along. In addition to revealing a composer will be selected shortly, he characterized the way he wants Edward, Bella and Jacob to appear. Check out those posts after the jump along with Andy Milonakis' favorite new Android app and shot of Denise Richards' tattoo. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for December 11, 2009.
