Larry KingLarry King made history last night by signing off on his last installment of "Larry King Live," but not everyone watching was a huge fan. Actually, there were a few critical grumbles in the feed today, with Greg Grunberg sounding off about Larry, Greg Mottola calling out the MPAA with a disagreement and Damon Lindelof calling out NBC's "The Cape."

Yesterday also brought one of the great accomplishments in trending hashtag use of 2010, however. Patton Oswalt and Jon Hurwitz led the charge their own picks for "Unfairly Maligned Film Characters," and the rest of Twitter just sort of followed along. Check out the whole archive of those posts on Twitter, as well as a couple of my favorites after the jump.

The FighterYou definitely haven't seen Christian Serratos in the "Twilight" series wearing the kind of makeup she put on for a Black Keys video in her feed this week. She and Danny Masterson both sported some new looks and posted pics.

The big trending topic in international news today, though, was WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange getting granted bail in London, where Michael Moore stepped in and got personally involved. His reaction to the situation and a roundup of Golden Globe nomination chatter have been retweeted for you after the jump.

MegamindThe Dallas Cowboys fell to 1-7 after losing to the Green Bay Packers Sunday, and their fans and foes alike in Twitter-Wood let out a collective groan. Sometimes it's hard to tell who's who these days, but Danny Masterson and Omar Epps both tried to speak some truth about the matter.

In other news, Ice-T's plea for an early copy of "Call of Duty: Black Ops" seems to have paid off. He tweeted a pic with the results, which you should find far less shocking than a self-portrait shared by "Weird Al" Yankovic. Gaze upon it if your dare after the jump along with Justin Bieber's reaction to "Megamind" and what Frankie Muniz plans on doing with the money he saved on his car insurance.

Glee cast in GQSome "Glee" cast members made a big splash this week on the Internet and with Doug Benson, thanks to a GQ photo shoot. Other pics of note in the feed showed off meetings between Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Cameron, Seth Green and Jar Jar Binks, and Ludacris with a motorcycle.

Elsewhere, Rose McGowan chastised Omar Doom for his Blu-ray watching choices, while Damon Lindelof assessed Jean-Claude Van Damme's heart attack denial and Rich Sommer backed one of his "Mad Men" co-stars to play Superman. Their tweets all appear after the jump, along with a backstage view of Broken Social Scene.

Snooki and the "Eclipse" cast may be jazzed about the new "Twilight" sequel's release this week, but Chris Kattan is not impressed, assuming his Twitter post today was meant to be sarcastic. If it wasn't meant as sarcasm, he may have just declared himself to be one of the biggest lovers of sparkling vampires in all of Twitter-Wood.

Few celebs have dared to trash "Toy Story 3," meanwhile. Christopher Mintz-Plasse wrote down some thoughts after seeing it, and director Lee Unkrich shared a photo with a few of the film's voice actors. Meanwhile, almost everyone else in our feed has been watching Wimbeldon or the World Cup. You can check out some match reactions and the jump along with another use Linsday Lohan has discovered for her iPad and Rainn Wilson's suggestions for the war in Afghanistan

All of this and more appears in Twitter-Wood for June 24, 2010. Read More...

Jon Favreau confirmed earlier this year that he included the revered Hollywood sound sample "The Wilhelm Scream" in "Iron Man 2," but last night on Twitter, he stopped short of revealing where it ended up. I'm going to to see it tonight and see if I can figure it out. In the meantime, give it a listen, and report back here if you can identify the scene.

In other tweets, Lloyd Kaufman weighed in on the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. He also expressed disgust on the part of the Toxic Avenger. Rachelle Lefevre is helping Oprah out this weekend, and Alison Brie posted a pic from her "Community" rehearsal. You can give that a look after the jump along with Larry King's photo op with Betty White. It's all Twitter-Wood for May 7, 2010. Read More...

You don't have to be a Louisiana native to be worried about the oil spill drifting toward its shores right now, and Ken Jeong and Christina Applegate both had the potential natural disaster on their minds today, as well as in their tweets.

Elsewhere in Twitter-Wood, TwitPic posting was a bit lighter, but Danny Masterson offered a behind-the-scenes look at his new Spike TV show "Playing With Guns" and Kim Kardashian showed what it looks like when she and her sister have a "Beach Bunny Party" together. It's all noted with Jon Hurwitz's thoughts on Sandra Bullock's child and the status of "Toy Story 3" in Twitter-Wood for April 29, 2010. Read More...

The weather looked great in California over the weekend from where Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Anne Hathaway were standing. The "Kick-Ass" star caught a screening of his new film at the Playboy mansion, she made a trip to Coachella, and both ended up on Twitter in pictures to document their activities.

Elsewhere, the weather was not kind to Jon Favreau, or at least the ash cloud over Europe caused by a volcano in Iceland was not. He had to scrap some plans to visit the U.K. thanks so flight cancellations. Check out what he said, why a lost iPhone made LeVar Burton feel better and how Fred Durst likes to dress when he plays golf. It's all on the record in Twitter-Wood for April 19th, 2010. At least one voice in the Twitter-Wood feed was happy to Mike Dunleavy depart from his role as head coach of the Los Clippers this week. Most of TW's citizens veer toward the Lakers in the basketball tweets, so it's always great to get some variety when someone like Danny Masterson speaks up to acknowledge L.A.'s other NBA team.

It was a big day for criticism off the court, too. Michael McKean didn't seem too impressed with "Spartacus: Blood & Sand" on Starz, Tinsel Korey chimed in to weigh in against her "Twilight" co-star Alex Meraz's comments from yesterday about Taylor Lautner's film "Valentine's Day" and Steve Agee shouted back after Rainn Wilson launch a snark bomb at him about "The Sarah Silverman Program." All of those tweets and some Jackie Chan fan artwork await you after the jump in Twitter-Wood for February 5, 2010. Read More...

I don't know if the world has been clamoring for Dave Matthews biopic, but Danny Masterson definitely knows who he wants to see in the lead role. Personally, I think Vince Vaughn may be getting a bit old to play Dave in his formative years, but hey, that's what CGI's for, right?

Other Twitter-Wood highlights today included another fan-created "Toy Story" tattoo that someone sent to Lee Unkrich and another celebrity visit to Jon Favreau's "Iron Man 2" editing room. Find out who stopped by, as well as what Joe Lynch said to defend Sam Mendes as the next Bond film director, how John August's micro-reviewed "The Princess and the Frog" and what Edgar Wright had to say to everyone looking around for a "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" trailer. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for January 6, 2010.

Twitter Pic of the Day:
@leeunkrich A fan sent this in. Best Toy Story tattoo ever. http://twitpic.com/wxp66
