When "Twilight" cast members began tweeting about subjects involving missing clothing, I definitely did not expect to log on to Twitter today and find out that Christian Serratos decided to outdo all of them, but but her new garment-less PETA ad definitely succeeded.

Dane Cook and Ice-T, meanwhile, were less focused on saving fur and more intent on playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" this weekend, according to their posts, and at least one of them found himself in possession of some nightvision goggles. The nice thing about Twitter-stalking celebrities is that under most circumstances there is no danger of injury or harm to personal property, which is more than can be said of Christian Serratos' mother's car today, according the "Twilight" star's tweets.

And while danger may not have been a factor, Miley Cyrus seems to have decided that Twitter is no longer the place for her, according to her final tweet before closing her account. I will personally miss the pictures or her mullet-wigged, surgical masked father, in addition to all of her meditative wisdom, and wish her well offline. Sarah Silverman, Ice-T and Jessica Simpson are all still online though. Believe or not, they all posted pics over the last 24 hours, and Silverman's is easily the least bizarre. Oh, and let's also take a moment to welcome Tracy Morgan to the Twitter community. He greets us with an ominous message, but that's nothing compared to the NSFW one that follows. There was a lot to catch up on in Twitter-Wood today after my long weekend, including the 40th anniversary of Monty Python's first appearance on television, which member John Cleese and fan Edgar Wright both noted. Elsewhere, Edward Norton and Danny Masterson had good things to tweet about Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke's live solo performance, and Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale joined Paris Hilton among those tweeting their Halloween costume plans for 2009.

There is loads more to check out, though, believe it or not, as James Gunn tweeted a pic of himself offering juice to a horse that may belong to Rainn Wilson and Jeremy Piven posted a behind-the-scene shot of Matt Damon from "Entourage." I wussed out, what can I say? Last Friday's Twitter Pic of the Day honors went to Aubrey O'Day, who posed facing away from the camera with her dog. The photo isn't quite scandalous, but it's not something I'm going to put up here. Instead, I offer you the two runners-up, from Danny Masterson and Fred Durst.

In the first pic, you get to see Masterson's uncanny resemblance to '60s radical and social activist Jerry Rubin. Its pretty uncanny. If you don't know who Jerry Rubin is, I strongly suggest checking out the movie "Chicago 10." Then there's the Limp Bizkit singer, whose snapped this Twitpic of a heavy modified, very red car. Warmoth's out again today. He hates me, you see. Really though, he busts his rear for this column and he gets a break whenever he wants it. The Twitter-Wood was relatively quiet today, but not so quiet that I've got nothing for you. Aubrey O'Day made some noise with a fairly scandalous TwitPic, the one that earned today's Twitter Pic of the Day honors. There were some strong runner-up contenders however from Danny Masterson and Fred Durst.

On the text tweet front, Amber Benson talks about her painful future as a roller derby girl, Rainn Wilson makes a startling observation, Michael McKean comes up with a brilliant movie idea and Ice-T addresses a very personal rumor. For those of you who caught the Boise State game or "Big Brother" last night, I've got some good news for you. You can click right on ahead and find out what Seth Meyers and Shannon Elizabeth were thinking while you picked your jaw up off the floor in front of the TV. I'm in the prior camp.

Moving on, I've got a pile of photos on the Twitter-Wood playlist today. Selecting among all of Emmy Rossum's shots onstage with Counting Crows in Central Park proved too difficult, so I just grabbed one and suggest you head over to her account for the rest. Grabbing the Twitter Pic of the Day honors, however, was Brett Ratner, who posted a shot of himself with Michael Jackson and P. Diddy. There seems to be something different going on with each of them in the scene. Keep on going, and you'll see some others from David Slade and Danny Masterson, as well as commentary from Jeremy Piven on his Letterman appearance last night where he addressed his pullout from "Speed the Plow" on Broadway last year. Farrah Fawcett still has scores of fans both inside and outside of Hollywood, and stars from Emma Roberts to Paris Hilton tweeted condolences today in the Twitter-Wood feed. There were also plenty of Shaq fans busy reacting to the NBA star's trade to Cleveland today, including Jeremy Piven and Danny Masterson.

Meanwhile, an exhausted Jon Favreau proved that a full day filming "Iron Man 2" wasn't enough to dampen his sense of humor, as he tweeted a completely legit shot from the movie's set. Today in the Twitter-Wood feed we've got the breed of commentary treat that only actors' Twitter accounts can provide as Tom Felton walked his followers through his hair-bleaching preparation for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" filming. Elsewhere, "Juno" writer Diablo Cody has been so busy prepping for a a mystery meeting that she's been neglecting her tweets for a few days, and experienced some basic withdrawal as a result.

As you've read here before, diligent tweeter Kevin Spacey recently finished shooting for his new film "Casino Jack." He'll be off to start work now on "Father of Invention," which producer Dana Brunetti snapped some quick pictures for and posted to his account today.
