Oprah's announcement that her show may end its 25-season run in 2011 was almost enough to unseat "New Moon" as the top trending topic of the Twitter-Wood feed today. Kevin Nealon and Wil Wheaton both had a opinions on her possible bow out of syndication, while Eli Roth and Kevin Smith helped keep "Twilight" alive in Twitter conversation.

Two big names celebrated birthdays last night in very public fashion, as P. Diddy entertained a few folks on my follow list and Larry King got a little rowdy in my pick for Twitter Pic of the Day. Check that out after the jump along with Jeremy Piven's Calgary Flames trip and Danny DeVito's wholesome moment with Carrie Fisher. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for November 20, 2009. Read more...

That headline ain't kidding. This morning's Daily TwitPic isn't the sharpest image you'll ever see. It may well be one of the blurriest. But it's also Danny DeVito celebrating his birthday -- yes, that's a candle-covered cake -- with Johnny Depp and Patti Smith.

DeVito and Depp at least were both in New York City this week for the exhibition opening of Tim Burton's career retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art. The trio are joined at their table by what is identified as "Troll Foot." If you look carefully, to the left of the cake, you can see it: a bare foot. If you follow DeVito then you know that he's got a weird fascination with tweeting images of his "Troll Foot." See for yourself after the jump. Read more...

It comes as no surprise that supporting cast members in "New Moon" would try to splinter off their own factions in the endless "Team Edward vs. Team Jacob" debate, but it looks like BooBoo Stewart's got at least one backer for Team Seth, judging from his TwitPic upload today. Tinsel Korey, meanwhile, remains firmly behind Team Jacob.

In non-"Twilight" posting today, Danny DeVito had a nice showing for his birthday last night, even if his picture wasn't high enough quality to make Twitter Pic of the Day. Neil Patrick Harris posted a new shot from the "How I Met Your Mother Set" and David Wain contributed a courtside view from the Lakers game. Check out all of those after the jump where you'll also find out which actress enjoys dancing to Lady Gaga and which actor claims he's the only one who didn't audition for "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 18, 2009. Read more...

This morning's Daily TwitPic is a little bit deep cut. You should know who Danny DeVito is. Even if you're not old enough to remember comedy classics like "Twins," "Ruthless People" or "Batman Returns" (he was The Penguin!), not to mention the hit TV series "Taxi," he's still sitting in the public eye thanks to the success of FX series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." It isn't too sunny in Philly this morning though. GO YANKS!

But I digress. Today's Daily TwitPic sees DeVito sitting down for a photo op with an old friend, perennial "that guy" actor Tracey Walter. Seriously, you've seen him before. Walter actually beat DeVito to the "Batman" franchise, playing The Joker's top henchman in the first movie, directed by Tim Burton. He has appeared with DeVito in a number of films though, including the awesome, ridiculously underrated dark comedy "Death to Smoochy." Read more...

Cow films appear to be the official successor to the unseen prequels tag that was trending on Twitter earlier this week. Both Jon Favreau and Steve Agee made contributions today, while John August offered some criticism of ABC's new "V" series and Brian Lynch commemorated the 40th birthday of "Sesame Street."

In the "Twilight" neighborhood of Twitter-Wood, meanwhile, Peter Facinelli discussed an accidental oversleeping incident that resulted in a late arrival on-set. David Slade responded by thanking him for not ever being late during "Eclipse." Check out all of those tweets after the jump. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 4, 2009. Read more...

"Eclipse" actress Jodelle Ferland claims that hackers descended on her website, which would explain the disarray currently on display if you visit Jodelle-Ferland.net. Her "Twilight" series costar Ashley Greene seemed to be having a much better weekend, however, taking in the U2 concert at the Rose Bowl Sunday night. Greene was joined by Danny DeVito, Demi Moore, and a host of others who tweeted pictures from the night.

Elsewhere, Tom Felton and Emmy Rossum are still undecided on their Halloween costumes, but Felton has officially nixed a Dalmation outfit and Rossum may be warming up to Pippi Longstocking. Check out what they had to say after the jump along with Edward Norton doing yoga, Billy Burke's "Harry Potter" shout-out and Stephen Fry's new secret video game role. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for October 26, 2009. Read more...

It was an epic day of awkward headshots in the Twitter-Wood feed today, so go click on the photo links knowing full well that you are about to see some rare sights. Pee Wee Herman, Paul Reubens' recently revived alter-ego earned top honors for a shot posted by Andy Milonakis, but Alyson Hannigan, Danny DeVito and Ice-T all jumped in the running too.

None of them, however, openly invited New Yorkers to walk up to them on the street and receive a kiss, though, which is cannot be said of Simon Pegg. You can find a link to that warm proposition along with Rachelle Lefevre's thoughts on "The Biggest Loser" and Rose McGowan's take on getting beat up. There's all in the mix for the September 23 Twitter-Wood report. Read more...

"Twilight" frustrations bubbled up in the Twitter-Wood feed today, though I'm not sure what some of them were about precisely. David Slade reiterated his irritation at planes flying over his "Eclipse" set, which may have been compounded by problems involving goats. Meanwhile, Christian Serratos cryptically sounded off with her desire to see "New Moon," which apparently she is not allowed to do quite yet.

Elsewhere, photos from Eliza Dushku and Emmy Rossum showed up with flannel shirt thoughts and a mysterious coconut left in the back of a taxi cab. You really don't know where that's been, Emmy. (Be safe.) Sarah Silverman wins the Twitter Pic of the Day award, though. Click on down, and I think you'll see why. It's in the Twitter-Wood report for September 11, 2009. Read more...

Dane Cook has a proposal today for Ellen DeGeneres' replacement on "Ellen," now that she's going to be busy judging on "American Idol." Check it out, and see what you think. Cook leads the Twitter-Wood playlist today, right ahead of "Sorority Row" star Leah Pipes and Selena Gomez, who misses Freddie Prinze Jr.'s TV show "Freddie."

Eddie Izzard, Ice-T and previously featured photo subject Steve Agee all entered the running for the Twitter Pic of the Day today -- and though only one could come out on top, I've ranked them below, eventually giving Izzard the break because, well, he's run 39 marathons now, and that's worth acknowledgement. After all, how many have you run lately? Congrats to him, and congrats to you for getting to read the Twitter-Wood report for September 10, 2009. Read more...

Editor's note: Mr. Warmoth wrote this up yesterday, but tech issues prevented me from running it. So please enjoy this post-Labor Day Twitter-Wood morning edition.

Happy Labor Day, everyone. Posts in the Twitter-Wood feed certainly didn't rest for the holiday -- particularly those of Kevin Smith, who is currently engaged in a 24-hour tweet-a-thon of questions and answers with his followers. I've included a few highlights but highly recommend throwing your own queries at him before he logs off.

In other news, the feed found a new feed this weekend! We proudly welcome the yet-to-become-Verfied account of Danny DeVito, whose profile pic alone has earned him a top slot on the list and Twitter Pic of the Day laurels. You can check it out in the link below alongside Smith's answers and Labor Day activities involving Peter Facinelli, Russell Brand and Neil Gaiman. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is a special Labor Day Twitter-Wood report for September 7, 2009. Read more...
