When Daniel Radcliffe asked if Harry dies at the end of the series, J.K. Rowling told him the answer...sort of. Watch him describe the exchange in the video below, and then read how Radcliffe is stepping back into Harry's shoes after losing it in "December Boys."
Is he a buffoon? A mastermind? Remorseful or just out to save his own neck? It's been more than two years since "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," but hard-core fans are still debating the motivations of Horace Slughorn, the brand-new potions master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Don't worry, so is Harry Potter himself.
"Most of the time he's gonna be very funny," star Daniel Radcliffe told MTV News of Slughorn's portrayal in the upcoming movie adaptation. "But then you will really see the dark side of him." Read more...
Bummed because you never got a chance to see Daniel Radcliffe naked? Don't despair -- he's bringing "Equus" to the states next year. Of course, that's not the only reason you're interested in checking out the, um, production -- we totally understand your deep interest in theatre, especially theatre involving horses and full-frontal nudity.
Radcliffe gave his final London performance in June, but he told MTV News that he thinks he could be doing it on Broadway by "late next year."
"There's an internet frenzy of people who think it's happening in the spring, but it would be six months later than that," he said. "In all probability, if everything goes according to plan, it would definitely be me and Richard Griffiths and how many other cast members the unions will allow." (Griffiths, who co-starred with Radcliffe in the play's West End run, also plays Uncle Vernon in the Harry Potter movies). "I'm excited. Terrified, but excited."

And what would be more terrifying or nerve-wracking -- kissing Cho Chang in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," losing his virginity in the upcoming "December Boys," or baring his all on stage? After the jump, Radcliffe rates his various love/sex scenes to date... Read more...

That's why he took the role in "December Boys," Radcliffe says, explaining himself in the video below. For more exclusive videos from the film, including a clip, click here.

Over the last six years, "Harry Potter" stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint have literally grown up before our eyes, transforming from 11-year-old wizards in "Sorcerer's Stone" to full-blown teenagers capable of taking on Lord Voldemort in "Order of the Phoenix." They've not only become old hands at playing Harry Potter and his best friend Ron Weasley -- they've actually, in a very real sense, become Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Video games, promotional art, and a whole generation of readers have used their faces and likenesses when envisioning the famous characters.
But what if we gave Dan and Rupert a couple of time-turners (and a healthy batch of Hermione's Polyjuice Potion, of course)? If they could choose any character in the Harry Potter universe, which one other than their own would they like to play? We asked the boys that very question. Read more...
