Bond

Hey, if he ain't broke, why cast another Bond?

Producer Michael G. Wilson wants to take that position when it comes to Daniel Craig as the legendary super spy. In a recent interview with People UK, Wilson revealed that he hopes to keep the latest Bond around for a record-breaking eight movies. With Craig currently filming his third Bond movie, "Skyfall," that would mean five more movies to break the record set by Roger Moore.

There has been so much talk about every aspect of the upcoming film, but none has received as much attention as Rooney Mara, the woman bringing the film's heroine to life.

Skyfall

After "Casino Royale" so capably rejuvenated the Bond franchise, "Quantum of Solace" was a bit of a letdown. Heavy on intended gravitas and jumbled action collages, the sequel didn't quite deliver with audiences or critics, leading to a temporary hiatus for 007.

But have no fear: Daniel Craig, still the capable British killer, promises that "Skyfall" will be a lot better.

It’s safe to say that James Bond himself, "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" star Daniel Craig, isn’t Tivo-ing "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." The actor recently chatted with British GQ and had these words for the reality stars that may leave them both shaken and stirred.

"Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions," he said, according to E! Online. "I don't think they were that badly off [financially] to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think, 'What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f--king idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions?'"

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

"Blomkvist and Salander have an odd relationship." Daniel Craig seems to be putting the emotional core of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" a bit lightly in the excerpt from this month's Empire magazine cover story, but that relationship is exactly what the sexy photos released from the issue are highlighting.

From Craig's Blomkvist handcuffed to a chair, to Rooney Mara's Salander blowing cigarette smoke into his mouth, the newest images from the film are showing off director David Fincher's knack for sexy, sexy filmmaking. As if you had any doubts, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" is looking much closer to Fincher's work on "Fight Club" than on last year's "The Social Network."

Two new stills from "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" have hit the web, though we still haven't seen the titular dragon tattoo yet. Come on!

The first shows Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander and Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist poring over some papers that very likely have to do with the Vanger case that sits at the film's center. Unfortunately there's not much context to go off of, but this could be the scene where Mikael visits Lisbeth for the first time and tries to recruit her to helping him solve the Vanger case. Regardless, it's nice to see the two of them in the same still together, since it's their dynamic that we are most looking forward to.

Check out the other new image after the jump.

Daniel CraigThere are many rumors swirling around the upcoming "Bond 23" production, but if Daniel Craig is certain about one thing, it's that Sam Mendes is the right person to direct the movie.

Recently the "Bond" leading man sat down with his "Cowboys & Aliens" director, Jon Favreau, for an interview, and conversation steered towards the next untitled installment in the "007" franchise.

Each of the "Bond" films Craig has been a part of have had different directors -- Martin Campbell for "Casino Royale" and Marc Forster for "Quantum of Solace" -- so Favreau asked the actor what he thought of Mendes "classing up the franchise."

In a nutshell? "I think it's kind of a great choice," Craig said.
