Cancelling "Dollhouse" disappointed a lot of Joss Whedon fans when FOX announced that it had pulled the plug, but Eliza Dushku felt the brunt of the decision as hard as anyone. She faced her Twitter followers with the news today and a sad smiley.

Mike Tyson, meanwhile, reportedly faced a paparazzo, landing at least one good punch, and Kirstie Alley has his back in Twitter-Wood. There were a few great pics today in the feed, too, including a shot from MoMA's new Tim Burton exhibit and Sarah Silverman's birthday tribute to her show's multi-talented producer, director and writer Rob Schrab, better known to any comic book readers out there as the creator of "Scud: The Disposable Assassin." Check those out after the jump and find out which "Twilight" actor visiting Alex Rodriguez's home. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 12, 2009. Read more...

FROM SPLASH PAGE: Just yesterday we revealed the results of last week's "Batman 3" poll, in which readers named The Riddler the villain they'd most like to see in the next installment of the Batman movie franchise. Now comes word from actor/comedian Dane Cook that Batman's question-marked nemesis is exactly the comic book character he'd like to play, given the chance.

"I love the new Dark Knight series and 'Batman Begins,'" Cook told MTV News when asked if there were any comic book movie characters he has his eye on. "If they brought back The Riddler—a new Riddler the way they did with The Joker—that would be bad-ass. I would do that."

When "Twilight" cast members began tweeting about subjects involving missing clothing, I definitely did not expect to log on to Twitter today and find out that Christian Serratos decided to outdo all of them, but but her new garment-less PETA ad definitely succeeded.

Dane Cook and Ice-T, meanwhile, were less focused on saving fur and more intent on playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" this weekend, according to their posts, and at least one of them found himself in possession of some nightvision goggles. Check all of that out after the jump along with Danny Masterson's criticism for Andre Agassi, "Toy Story 3" director Lee Unkrich's favorite childhood toy and much more. I'm @brianwarmoth and this is the Twitter-Wood report for November 9, 2009. Read more...

"Twilight" covers pretty much turned into the Sports Illustrated cover of hand-modeling gigs, but Kimbra Hickey snagged it, and actor Justin Chon earned my photo pic for the day with his candid TwitPic of her from the weekend. Chon, Peter Facinelli, and Christian Serratos all posted over the weekend, and Serratos contributed her own TwitPic, which you'll find below.

Moving on down the feed, Miley Cyrus appears to have had a good time and a Britney Spears concert, and the two performers exchanged Twitter gushes when it was all over. Ice-T, meanwhile, was not gushing in his criticism toward public reaction Saturday when Jenny Slate dropped the F-bomb on "Saturday Night Live." I'm @brianwarmoth, and you can check out all of those posts, along with more Rose McGowan fan artwork(!), Dane Cook with Andre Agassi and what Amanda Bynes wants in a boyfriend. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for September 28, 2009. Read more...

As you may recall from yesterday's Twitter-Wood, John Stamos called upon one of his Twitter fans to post a photo of his alleged Uncle Jesse-based tattoo. Well today that tweeter responded in kind, and the wrist tattoos are linked to at the top of the report for all to see now.

In other tweets, Robert Rodriguez gleefully celebrated his confirmed actors for "Machete," calling out Jessica Alba and Robert De Niro. As it turns out, the director has his own Twitter fan in Dane Cook, who's read the script. Kristen Bell, meanwhile, claims to have been reading "hacked" tweets coming out of her account. In what may be a related event, Dax Shepard called out a poser using the fake name @IMkristenBeII (note how two upper case i's can resemble two lowercase L's), who tried to break up with him. You can check out all that drama and more below. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for August 27, 2009. Read more...

John StamosTom Felton sounds like he'll be lightening up his mood a bit for his next non-"Harry Potter" project. The normally moody-on-screen actor who plays Draco Malfoy will be jumping into Jonah Hill's "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" sequel "Get Him to the Greek" alongside Hill and Russell Brand, according to his Twitter updates.

Elsewhere in our feed, the Twitter-Wood report joins John Stamos' former "Full House" cast members Bob Saget and Dave Coulier in wishing the well-groomed actor a happy birthday. The "ER" star's own bday post snagged today's Twitter Pic of the Day, which I've inserted below via Saget's re-tweet and well-wishing. If you ever wanted to see how great Stamos' hair looked early on in life, now is your chance. Check it out, along with Richard Kelly's computer problems, an explosion from F. Gary Gray's new film and more. It's all in the Twitter-Wood Report for August 19, 2009. Read more...

Peter FacinelliWarmoth's out, and he stuck me with the Twitter-Wood duties. He was here in the office only a few hours ago. Why didn't I force him to sit down and write it, under penalty of torture?!??!?! I don't have the routine down the way he does, so I hope you'll forgive what is sure to be a lesser TW column. I try my best, but Warmoth's shoes are big ones to fill.

I think I hit the main beats. "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli 'fessed up to being a "Star Trek" fan after a follower called him out for referring to a lousy "Trek" fight from the original series. Also, Mandy Moore proved that she has good taste in music while Dax Shepard and Stephen Fry both made some stunning sociological observations. Plus a very special Twitter Pic of the Day from "Harry Potter" star and "Superbad" fan Tom Felton, who got to hang with Jonah Hill recently. I'm @geminibros and this is your daily update of the goings-on around Twitter-Wood. Read more...

Jeremy PivenIn yesterday's Daily TwitPic, I gave you an up-close look at the cleanest, most inoffensive thing possible: a Jonas Brothers concert. On the scale of objectionable content -- with 1 being a starry-eyed fluffy bunny and 10 being the sickest hardcore pornography imaginable -- a JoBros show peaks at around 2.5. Or so I've heard.

Today's Daily TwitPic is for those readers who saw yesterday's pic and got worried that we're going soft here at MTV. This image was actually a bit too objectionable in its unaltered state, so I had to clean it up a bit. "The Goods" star Jeremy Piven doesn't look like he's selling hard here, but he's certainly living hard. That's just how it goes when you roll with peeps like Kid Rock and Dane Cook. Something tells me that if the picture had captured a bit more of the background action, I wouldn't have been able to post it at all. Just saying... Read more...

Les PaulLes Paul's death topped the list of trending topics on the Twitter-Wood feed today, and Penn Jillette, Neil Gaiman and Steve Agee were among those sharing their reflections on the music figure's passing. One of them was even invited to play with him at one point, but I'll let you read on to find out which of them it was.

Elsewhere, Eliza Dushku admitted to her Twitter followers that she hasn't seen "Twilight" yet and asked them if its anything worth checking out. I'm guessing she's not in the dark about it anymore. Click on down to read all of those tweets and witness Bob Saget's Twitter victory of the day, as well as my Twitter Pic of the Day featuring Dane Cook, Jeremy Piven and Kid Rock. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for August 13, 2009. Read more...

David SladeYou just can't turn your back on the Twitter-Wood feed. I stepped away for a couple of days to leave things in MTV Movies Blog editor Adam Rosenberg's capable hands, and "Eclipse" director David Slade activated a new account. He hit the ground tweeting, too, commenting about notes he just received from Stephenie Meyer about the next "Twilight" film. (Editor's note: Clearly my hands are not terribly capable.)

Meanwhile, Jon Favreau was partying down this weekend, celebrating an end to principal photography for "Iron Man 2." Both directors, as well as two celebrities attending the Inter Milan/Chelsea match at Pasadena's Rose Bowl, an extremely confident Dane Cook and music suggestions from both Rainn Wilson and David Lynch also showed up over the last 24 hours. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter-Wood report for July 20, 2009. Read more...
