Happy "One Month Until Twilight" Day, everybody! Today's "Twilight" Tuesday shines a spotlight on Anna Kendrick, a talented actress who is so down-to-earth that she's definitely…well, part of a 20-way-tie for my favorite actor in the upcoming movie.

Believe it or not, there are still some "Twilight" haters out there trying to stir the pot. And as the series' young stars continue to grow in fame, I'm sure we'll hear even more stories trying to invent feuds between them.

"My mom tells me this stuff and I wish she didn't," laughed Kendrick when we spoke with her, discussing a rumored rift between herself and Kristen Stewart. "But she reads everything, and you know, she is my mom! She was like, 'Somebody said that you were mean on set,' and I was actually like horrified, you know? Maybe I was having a bad day, and did I take it out on the wrong person? I felt so awful." Read more...

Right now, the third and final "Twilight" trailer is spreading all over the Internet faster than Edward Cullen scaling the side of a tree. But, to paraphrase those old MTV commercials about why you'd better get your television hooked up to stereo sound: You might only be getting half the picture.

Long ago, we began the tradition in these parts of doing scene-by-scene breakdowns of the most anticipated movie trailers, like "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", "The Dark Knight", and the original "Twilight" trailer. Now, we've just taken live our official breakdown of the newest "Twilight" clip, and encourage you to read along while you watch the trailer again. And again. And again. Read more...

Catherine HardwickeNowadays, "Twilight" fans are certain that no other filmmaker but Catherine Hardwicke could have been trusted with turning their beloved novel into a movie. But as we here at MTV remember, she nearly didn't direct the movie – or any other films ever again, for that matter.

During our interview that makes up this week's "Twilight Tuesday," Hardwicke talks about how she becomes so immersed in moviemaking that she even calls the actors by their character's names. While shooting the underrated "Lords of Dogtown" a few years ago, the director got so deep into thought, in fact, that she suffered a dangerous accident. Read more...

Mike Welch"Twilight" fans have always made their exuberance known, whether they're delivering gift baskets to the stars' hotel rooms, flooding our message boards with thousands of questions for their favorite actors, or attempting to send me into outer space. The enthusiasm reached an all new level recently, however, when Twilighters began posting on sites like TwilightLexicon.com that Mr. Mike Welch deserved his own day of "Twilight Tuesday" treatment.

Well, our interview with Mike/Mike just went live here, and he had a lot of fun things to say about the fanbase that loves him. But he also wanted our help in getting the word out to one particularly enthusiastic Twilighter.

"NoMoreMarbles, I'm sure she's watching," Mike laughed, referring to one of our all-time favorite Twilighters, who has made a name for herself uploading videos like this one. "I would like to have an interview with you." Read more...

Cullen CrestWhen the bat-signal flies high in the sky, you know that Bruce Wayne is about to come around the corner and save the day. The Transformers use theirs to distinguish the Autobots from the Decepticons. Bands (The Dead Kennedys, Black Flag), people (Prince, Ron Paul) and ideals (Peace, Smiley-ness) use symbols every day.

Now, the bloodsucking beauties from "Twilight" are ready to join the ranks of the symbolic - and MTV has your first look at The Cullen Crest.

"This is something that's not in the book; it's a little detail in the movie that you are going to glimpse at," explained Peter Facinelli, showing us Carlisle's finger jewelry. "It's a family crest - the Cullen family crest - and each one of us carry it. Mine is in the form of a ring, some of the kids have it on as a bracelet, some have a pendant. Each one of us carries the family Cullen crest."

Designed by director Catherine Hardwicke and her team, the shamrocks-and-lions-powered crest was presented to stars like Facinelli and Nikki Reed, who were then allowed to choose the jewelry their character would wear. Read more...

Nikki ReedIt was a gamble that paid off in a big way for the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, but may have helped sink the "Matrix" films. As for the "Back to the Future" flicks, well, that battle continues to rage on. Now, the "Twilight" series is the latest blockbuster franchise making plans to shoot multiple sequels at the same time.

"It's been discussed," producer Greg Mooradian revealed to MTV News. "I can't tell you we're at that place yet, but it's definitely been discussed."

The advantages to such a plan are obvious: Rather than building sets and tearing them down only to be re-built a few years later, they can film multiple scenes; instead of selling vehicles and re-buying them (such as Carlisle Cullen's Mercedes, which can be seen here), they can hold on to them; rather than having thirty-year-old actors pretending to still be in high school, they can stay the same age in each film.

"Our vampires can't age…if they were like 45, people would say 'What's up?'" laughed director Catherine Hardwicke, citing one of the main problems with filming Stephenie Meyer's "New Moon" and "Eclipse" novels. "[Filming them together] could be the case. Then, you just get it done." Read more...

Ashley GreeneFirst off, Ashley Greene is like the nicest person I think I've ever talked to in my entire life. Secondly, she gave us tons of cool "Twilight" revelations when I interviewed her from the set of the movie, which resulted in this just-published article. Make sure you head over to the Movies site and check it out.

But in my mind, one of the most interesting characters in the series is Bella's soft-spoken father Charlie. Naturally, I had to ask Ashley whether rumors on his casting were correct.

"Billy Burke is playing him," she confirmed. "It's funny, because he's friends with a couple of my really good friends. He was in 'Fracture,' and 'Untraceable' with Diane Lane, which I really want to see. I've only met him once, and I don't really have any scenes with him yet. But I think he's a pretty good fit...He's commented on making the character a strong character." Read more...
