Seth Rogen and James Franco in 'Pineapple Express'It's the buzzword of 2008: Cross-pollination. And it's all the rage these days thanks to Marvel's ambitious slate, which already included Nick Fury showing up in "Iron Man" and Tony Stark showing up in "The Incredible Hulk." So if comics can get away with it, why not Judd Apatow?

We're actually not joking. Combining Apatow's comedies isn't just a good idea, it's an idea whose time very well may come soon, "Pineapple Express" star James Franco told MTV News.
