Fast FiveDespite all odds (and a few predictions on the Mayan Calendar), "Fast Five" is finally here! The fifth installment in the street racing franchise just opened and already broke the record for highest-grossing Universal picture with a midnight release. While the critics have given it mixed reviews, one star thinks it might be the next "Citizen Kane."

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated summer comedy "Bridesmaids" screened last night and the tweets are alive with commotion. We can't remember the last time an all-female comedy has gotten so much buzz but it's understandable when you get a load of the egregiously talented cast. Some well-respected actors and comedians were in the audience last night and somehow, someway, they got us even more excited.

And we've got some of the funniest things Hollywood tweeted about the beautiful wedding most Americans slept through.

JGLWe reported on it weeks ago, but it was made official yesterday: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotilliard will be joining the cast of "The Dark Knight Rises." And if it wasn't for Twitter, we'd have no idea how meta this casting really was.

According to the James Cameron blockbuster "The Terminator," the artificial intelligence in the Skynet program went live yesterday, which means that our inevitable destruction is just hours away! Since we're all about to die, you might as well read a few predictions for what might be in store for the robot apocalypse.

And a beautiful actress talks about filming love scenes! We won't give it away, but it involves lots and lots of high fives.

ThorThe summer blockbuster season is rapidly approaching and the tweets are alive with excitement. Arguably, the first big film opens May 6th and comes in the form of a hammer-wielding warrior named "Thor." Leave it to Seth MacFarlane to point out the most exciting thing about the Norse God.

For us, summer blockbuster season usually means obnoxiously-excited-for-new-Pixar-movies season. We're counting down the days until "Cars 2," but one "Finding Nemo" star is upset that a sequel is not in her future.

Meanwhile, "Rio" slayed "Scream 4" at the box office this weekend and star Tracy Morgan finally gets his promotional groove on. And another comedian is celebrating Passover this year, albeit under a new name.

Rise of the Planet of the ApesThe trailer for the succinctly named "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" dropped today, sending the movie world into an ape-like frenzy. But it's not just the trailer itself that's catching some attention -- some are taking issue with the film's new title. While certain fans are upset with the name, one Hollywood director got the inside scoop on the film's "original working title."

As if that wasn't enough, the "Rock of Ages" director announced some huge casting news for the musical through his Twitter account. We won't give it away yet (okay, maybe we already did), but he's British, you know his name, and he's married to Katy Perry. Any guesses?

Conan O'BrienMany people were thankful for Conan O'Brien's return to late-night television Monday night via TBS, but not nearly enough viewers appreciated the event first and foremost for the great Larry King TwitPic post that it made possible. King was one of a few outstanding image-sharers earning spots on our highlight reel today. Others receiving the honor include Andy Milonakis with Snoop Dogg, and a shot that may make you wish you were drinking with Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Florence and the Machine yesterday.

Their enthusiasm was nearly matched by Michelle Rodriguez, who joined Ice-T in committing to acquiring "Call of Duty: Black Ops" (she came close enough to identifying its rightful name). Unfortunately, Chloe Moretz won't be able to play it, but if she were older it would be on her to-do list. Check out those tweets, plus Darren Bousman getting sentimental about his "Saw" experiences, down below.

Justin BieberThe fact that Sylvester Stallone has an opinion about Brock Lesnar's UFC match against Cain Velasquez shouldn't surprise you, which is more than can be said about the one man he said would be capable of taking Velasquez down.

Meanwhile, the younger faces in Twitter-Wood were all about their photos today and last night. Ariana Grande nabbed the elusive Justin Bieber for a pic, while BooBoo Stewart ran into someone you'll be seeing very soon for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," and Conan O'Brien expressed some solidarity with Kristen Stewart. Find out more about that after the jump along with who got confused during the Packers/Vikings game last night.

Twitter-Wood got so enthusiastic today that I had to censor a couple of f-bombs out. Patton Oswalt, for instance ran into "Eastbound and Down" star Danny McBride, while Richard Kelly got a little high off learning that John Stewart and Stephen Colbert would be holding competing rallies in Washington, D.C.

Oswalt even posted a picture to prove it, as did James Gunn from the "Super" premiere, Sofia Vergara from the "Modern Family" set and Donald Glover from a Blu-ray rack. You can check out those shots down below along with Conan O'Brien's thoughts for Yom Kippur and one actors dream of getting onto "The Real World."

The worlds of "Eclipse" and Motörhead may have seemed mutually inclusive to you before today, but photo post from actor BooBoo Stewart today proved that that divide can be crossed. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a Lemmy Kilmister cameo in "Breaking Dawn," though.

In other Twitter-Wood action, Stephen Colbert pondered what appropriate attire would be for the Glenn Beck rally in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. 50 Cent pondered some political aspirations as well, inspired by Wyclef Jean. You can read about those below, along with Brett Ratner's endorsement of the movie "Catfish" and Dax Shepard's excitement about "Jersey Shore."

Wyclef Jean already has at least one vocal backer for his run for President in Haiti, thanks to Ice-T. Conan O'Brien may be on board, too, but he's got some high standards. Miranda Cosgrove, meanwhile, won't be running for head of state anytime soon, but she is up for a Teen Choice Award for "iCarly," and tweeted the results of her dress search.

Find out how that went after the jump, where you'll also find out how Neil Patrick Harris feels about Prop 8 being overturned and see shots of Edward Norton surfing, Autumn Reeser hanging out a Dodgers game and Dave Coulier rubbing elbows with Sarah Silverman.

Be warned, there was some adult content in the Twitter-Wood feed today. As they appear below, Michael Ian Black's feelings about oatmeal and Russell Brand's interaction with Elmo have been made safe for work, but I can't promise anything after you've clicked on through to their Twitter pages.

The big-news topics of discussion today were of course Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston's break-up redux and A-Rod's new home run benchmark, though, and those reactions have not been left out. Find out who you agree with and why Patton Oswalt wants to see "The Expendables" after the jump.
