Golden Globe Nominations, Julian Assange And 'The Fighter' In Today's Twitter-Wood

The FighterYou definitely haven't seen Christian Serratos in the "Twilight" series wearing the kind of makeup she put on for a Black Keys video in her feed this week. She and Danny Masterson both sported some new looks and posted pics.

The big trending topic in international news today, though, was WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange getting granted bail in London, where Michael Moore stepped in and got personally involved. His reaction to the situation and a roundup of Golden Globe nomination chatter have been retweeted for you after the jump.

Lindsay Lohan, The Heat Wave And Levi Johnston In Today's Twitter-Wood

Lindsay LohanSlams and jokes flew fiercely in Twitter-Wood today, what with Levi Johnston's public apology to the Palin family and Lindsay Lohan's sentencing. Kim Kardashian contributed some positivity to the situation, though, sending good vibes to Lohan.

Elsewhere, no one was tweeting good things about the heat wave in the U.S. — at least no one in my feed. 'Twilight' Actor Christian Serratos Eats A Puppy In Today's Daily TwitPic

That headline is true. After the jump you'll find a picture of Christian Serratos, "Twilight"'s Angela, eating a puppy. Or preparing to eat a puppy.

She doesn't play a vampire in the movies but she's clearly developed a taste for blood. Would the Cullens approve? I don't think so. I mean, I know that they're "vegetarian" vampires, and thus only drink the blood of animals. But dogs are like stupid people. And puppies are like stupid babies. They'd probably balk at the idea of eating a stupid baby. I know I would.

Al And Tipper Gore, The 'Scott Pilgrim' Trailer And The 'Smurfs' Set In Today's Twitter-Wood

I don't know how much weight you should necessarily give to James Urbaniak's commentary on Al and Tipper Gore's reported break-up, but the topic has been trending on Twitter this afternoon, and the "Venture Bros." actor claims to know who the former Vice President will be visiting soon.

On the movies front, the new "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" trailer has been turning some heads. Director Edgar Wright has a few accomplishments displayed therein which he hopes you'll appreciate. You may also appreciate another look at the "Smurfs" set which showed up in Sofia Vergara's feed, as well as shots of "Twilight" actress Christian Serratos kissing a tiny animal and a Weezer band member caught in the wild.

Los Angeles Lakers And 'Twilight' Actors' Travels In Today's Twitter-Wood

Wherever you were if you were watching the Los Angeles Lakers in Games 2 of the NBA Western Conference finals, I'm going to assume your seats were not as good the ones occupied by Danny DeVito, Eliza Dushku and Kim Kardashian. They all posted pics you can scope out below to see if you're jealous.

If you don't care about basketball and do care about "Twilight," I have pertinent tweets for you on that front as well. An 'Eclipse' Actress With A Koala, The NFL Draft And 'Pizza Man' In Today's Twitter-Wood

After you've seen the new "Eclipse" trailer you can head on over to Twitter where actress Christian Serratos has been hanging out with koalas and learning not to use the word "bear" to refer to them. She didn't seem too thrilled about the idea herself.

In other tweets, Alyssa Milano posted some photo evidence of her involvement with the NFL Draft. Michael Ian Black, meanwhile, wanted to see a different kind of draft on TV, and Frankie Muniz continued his adventure back into acting by starting work on his new movie "Pizza Man." An 'Eclipse' Easter Egg, The California Earthquake And Major League Baseball In Today's Twitter-Wood

Jodelle Ferland, who plays Bree Tanner in "Eclipse," loves making artwork. We already knew that. This weekend, instead of drawing Taylor Lautner, however, she was decorating an Easter egg with the spirit of "Twilight." An 'Eclipse' Actor's Speeding Ticket, Locations On Twitter And Kathy Ireland In Today's Twitter-Wood

Complaints about surveillance trended in today's Twitter-Wood feed. "Eclipse" actor Alex Meraz credited photo-enabled radar detection for a speeding ticket he received, while Ken Jeong harped on Twitter's new location identification system and asked whether or not his fans would want him to use it.

In a rare Twitter appearance, Elizabeth Taylor unleashed some pointed complaints over post-Oscars stories written about Kathy Irelend. 'Twilight' Cast Members, 'Transformers 3' And A New Randy Newman Song In Today's Twitter-Wood

Remember back when we had "Twilight" faces showing up in the feed on a daily basis in Twitter-Wood? Well, they're all over the place doing things since "Eclipse" filmed and "New Moon" launched, and it's been a good two months since a TwitPic of Christian Serratos and Edi Gathegi showed up. But they reemerged today.

Lee Unkrich, meanwhile, has been a regular poster, showing off shots of the "Toy Story 3" cast as they've shown up to the studio to record. Yesterday, he got a visit from singer/songwriter Randy Newman, though, and he reports that a new song has been created -- presumably for the film.
