DreamWorks' drama, "The Trial of the Chicago 7," has been a hot topic for months. Centered on the 1968 riots at the Democratic National Convention, and the trial that followed, it couldn't be made at a more relevant time. It's scripted by everyone's favorite political writer, Aaron Sorkin. It was supposed to have begun shooting this spring, giving it a release coinciding with a new president, but it failed to come together. Cast members come and go. One week Steven Spielberg is attached to direct, the next week he's no longer involved. It's a surprisingly troubled start for a movie everyone would want to make.
The latest name to be attached has the entire film world buzzing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the newest member of the A-List attached to the film is none other than Ben Stiller.
