Both stars have been around for a long time and given us a lot of movies we love; in 1994, they finally came together, resulting in the instant classic “Pulp Fiction.” Now, John Travolta and Bruce Willis are teaming once again for the new action movie “From Paris With Love” – the only difference is that, this time around, Bruce probably isn’t aware of it.

“John is great, because he likes playing with his image,” Pierre Morel, director of "From Paris," "Taken" and the upcoming "Dune" adaptation explained to us recently. “He likes doing different characters every time.” Read more...

--Sylvester Stallone has opened up on the secret scene in "The Expendables" featuring himself, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and my greatest dreams come to life. According to the actor, Willis plays the man who hires Stallone and his titular team for "a death-defying mission," but there's another operative that could take on the job — none other than Stallone's longtime rival, played by Schwarzenegger. "I talked about this scene with these guys for a long time, but I never thought it would come to fruition," said Stallone. (PopWatch)

--NBC is going from "Heroes" to "Zeroes" in an all-new television project from "Crank" duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Titled "Zeroes," the one-hour NBC project will focus on a crisis situation's final hour. "We want to drop right into it and sustain the absolute most berserk state of crisis, when all of the options have been exhausted," said Taylor. (THR) Read more...

It has finally happened. The moment I've waited for ever since I was old enough to enjoy a hard-R action film — which was younger than I'd care to let my mother know, thank you very much — has finally arrived.

Sylvester Stallone. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Bruce Willis. On screen. Together.

The trio of iconic Hollywood action heroes united this weekend to film a scene together for "The Expendables," Stallone's long-awaited ensemble action epic. The writer-director-actor was able to wrangle both Willis and Schwarzenegger for smaller roles in the movie, and while we first broke word of this reunion a few months back, the actual filming has commenced — and based on the admittedly scarce details, this not-so-secret scene sounds pretty wonderful. As if last week's mixed-genre Friday openings weren't enough, we've got the same song this week as well. I'm thinking that the front-runner is "Fame." Not only does it possess an all-ages appeal, but there's also the nostalgia factor to consider. The 1980 original was quite popular, so even childless thirty-somethings can find something to enjoy with this remake. Maybe.

It's not like there aren't other options. Michael Moore is back with another message-driven doc, "Capitalism: A Love Story." This one's about the sorry state of financial affairs that our nation is currently in, with the focus on what went wrong and how we got to where we currently are. Moore is nothing if not a crowd-pleaser, so expect to find his same brand of wry, scathing humor mixed with shocking facts about corporate and governmental wrongdoings. Read more...

Could Hollywood really be making a movie that will be marketed on billboards and marquees nationwide as “A Couple of Dicks”? The answer is yes… and, well… no.

“That was everyone’s intention, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen,” Adam Brody told MTV recently, echoing Kevin Smith’s statements that he may have to change the name of his now-wrapped Bruce Willis-Tracy Morgan buddy cop comedy. “We were talking about [changing the name]; you can’t really advertise that before 9[pm on TV] if that’s the case, so that really hampers [the studio].” Read more...

Do you like my punny headline?

A very strange week as far as your clicks go. In an odd change from the norm, not a single one of the top three stories for the week has anything to do with vampires. In fact, "Twilight" news doesn't pop up on the list until position number five. Could my Twilighter readers be slipping?

Before we ponder that question, let's take a quick look at the week's Box Office Poll. To no one's great surprise, Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" leads the voting, with 75% of your clicks. None of the other options really inspired you, with "Post Grad" tying for the second place spot with "staying home and watching TV." Ouch. Read more...

Bruce WillisThey are three legends of the silver screen. Separately, they've made dozens of films that have had a huge impact on the lives of moviegoers. Fans have been wanting to see them unite on screen for decades. Now, the trio are finally planning to make a movie together.

“I want to send best wishes to Sly,” Bruce Willis said with a grin when we spoke with him last week. “And the Governor of California, my old pal Arnold.” Read more...

Die HardFROM SPLASH PAGE: Announced late last month, Boom Studios’ upcoming “Die Hard: Year One” comic book series will take Bruce Willis‘ hard-luck hero John McClane back to his roots in a story that unfolds more than a decade before his 1988 adventure at the Nakatomi Plaza. Veteran writer/artist Howard Chaykin, who will be scripting the prequel, spoke with MTV News about what readers can expect from the series when it hits shelves this August — including some of the familiar movie characters and elements of New York City history that will find their way into story.

“We’re dealing with McClane as a 23-year-old Marine veteran, new to the force from Queens, just loving his job,” Chaykin told MTV News. “The series is going to explain exactly how he got his gold shield.”

Die Hard: Year OneFROM SPLASH PAGE: While Splash Page usually focuses its energy on the leap from comic book to cinema screen, we're always down to report on the opposite translation -- and today, a pair of film franchises are moving into the paneled universe.

Boom Studios has announced that it will publish a prequel to the Bruce Willis-starring "Die Hard" action franchise as a comic book series titled "Die Hard: Year One," while simultaneously releasing a graphic novel version of "Jennifer's Body," the upcoming horror film starring Megan Fox and directed by Diablo Cody ("Juno").

So Kevin Smith has never once directed a film not based on his own script, but when you consider some of the films he’s been offered in the past and rejected—including two fantasy/comedy hybrids, Matthew McConaughey’s “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” and Eddie Murphy’s upcoming “Imagine That”—the I-only-direct-my-own-stuff stance was probably a wise decision on Mr. Smith’s part.

Yet with his Bruce Willis/Tracy Morgan buddy cop flick, “A Couple of Dicks,” Smith has finally taken the leap into someone else’s script. Why this film, and why now? His rationale is rooted in his formative movie-going experiences, when his dad would take him out of school to go to a matinee at the theater. Read more...
