It was appropriate that for the last Twitter-Wood update of 2010, the feed included plenty of examples of what made the year great. "Black Swan" reactions continued to appear, while Michael Ian Black and Brody Stevens wished horrible fates upon people for the new year and Seth MacFarlane proposed a New Year's resolution for anyone who hasn't picked one yet.
Ice-T sounded off with his feelings about the police, as he apparently got pulled over this week. His rant, as well as Jeremy Piven's fear of saunas and Anna Kendrick's love for the show "Misfits" can be found down below.

Writer-director Blake Edwards' death was felt in Twitter-Wood today. His films such as "Breakfast at Tiffany"'s and "The Pink Panther" influenced generations of Hollywood talent, and a few such actors and directors, including Edgar Wright, Steve Martin and William Shatner paid their respects with posts.
The sports world was sad as well, with Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Feller passing away; Brody Stevens honored his legacy, while yet even more distraught tweets reacted to news that "Stargate Universe" has been canceled on Syfy. Check out who's going to miss it down below.

No matter who they're supporting, most of the faces in the Twitter-Wood feed discussing elections in the U.S. today just want you to get out and vote. Some expressed stronger recommendations, though, such as Sylvester Stallone, who used "The Manchurian Candidate" to help illustrate his point.
In other posts, Snoop Dogg looked like he was having a good time kicking back for his birthday with a few junior football player pals. Snoop, his birthday cake and LeVar Burton with a sticker on his face await you down below.

A couple of veteran action heroes spoke up on Twitter in the last 24 hours to comment on their past accomplishments, and you may be interested to see how Sylvester Stallone feels about cheesiness, as well as how Arnold Schwarzenegger responded to an accusation that he sold out when he made "Junior."
Elsewhere, other headline news topics of the day showed up: Jim Carrey sent a message out to the miners in Chile, Todd Barry defended coverage of David Arquette and Courteney Cox's split, and Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter reacted to recent comments by Christine O'Donnell.

Someone finally stood up in Twitter-Wood Tuesday to counter Brett Ratner's rave reviews of "Catfish." You'll have to read on down to find out who it was, but the Monday-Tuesday window in our feed turned out to be a popular one for the critics to show up.
The first episode of the new "Hawaii Five-0" series caught some attention and at least one comparison to "Con Air," while Bristol Palin had fellow flyers clamoring to watch "Dancing With the Stars" at the airport where Patton Oswalt was hanging out. Check out what he thought about that, who wished Bill Murray a happy birthday and who's been getting prepped in case they ever make a Shake Weight movie after the jump.

The latest trailers for "Eclipse" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" have given several faces in Twitter-Wood something to post about this week. Apparently even those who were on set for the newest "Twilight" film can still be made to scream when they see their work in motion.
David Slade and James Urbaniak, meanwhile, have been keeping tabs on the new "Smurfs" film, and they both seem to have some concerns. You can find out what those are after the jump alongside reactions from the "Entourage" Season 7 premiere and a Lakers jersey blessing sighting.

I don't know how much weight you should necessarily give to James Urbaniak's commentary on Al and Tipper Gore's reported break-up, but the topic has been trending on Twitter this afternoon, and the "Venture Bros." actor claims to know who the former Vice President will be visiting soon.
On the movies front, the new "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" trailer has been turning some heads. Director Edgar Wright has a few accomplishments displayed therein which he hopes you'll appreciate. You may also appreciate another look at the "Smurfs" set which showed up in Sofia Vergara's feed, as well as shots of "Twilight" actress Christian Serratos kissing a tiny animal and a Weezer band member caught in the wild.

Not since Frankie Muniz's visit to a Jonas Brothers concert last August have the lads appeared in a Twitter Pic of the Day, but Danny DeVito contributed a true masterpiece today — and one that will surely please foot fetishists the world over.
On a more serious note, you probably all know by now that former Black Sabbath frontman Ronnie James Dio passed away yesterday. Twitter-Wood was certainly aware, and memories from Mandy Moore, Brian Posehn and William Zabka have all been duly retweeted after the jump. There, you can also find out which former "Star Trek: The Next Generation" actor contributed to "Red Dead Redemption," whose trip to Monaco got cancelled thanks to a volcano, and who bonded with Toby Kieth over a couple Dodgers games. If you didn't know that a Star Trek movie screenwriter was nominated for a Tony this year, you do now. Brent Spiner pointed out in Twitter-Wood today that "Red" playwright John Logan also wrote the story for "Star Trek: Nemesis." The other big "Star" franchise got some attention too, with numerous posts celebrating Star Wars Day.
Kim Kardashian was happy to hear that a suspect was in custody regarding the attempted Times Square boming in New York, while Tom Hanks was content just to be on his new film's set ten minutes early. Check out all of those tweets after the jump and you'll also find out who works out at Mr. T's gym. That info is part of the all-inclusive retweet package that is Twitter-Wood for May 4, 2010. UPDATE: Internet weirdness left this post out of yesterday's publish, despite the fact that it WAS actually published. So... enjoy your day late Twitter-Wood, and keep an eye out for TODAY'S Twitter-Wood later!
Super Saver may have won the 2010 Kentucky Derby, but Fran Drescher won today's Twitter Pic of the Day with her Audrey Hepburn homage and modest hat for the event. Rain was not enough to scare her away from the race or the camera, it would appear.
A few tweets in the feed were decidedly less upbeat, though, as word broke that Oscar-nominated actress Lynn Redgrave passed away. An array of post from Alyssa Milano and Brody Stevens to Virginia Madsen and Denise Richards shared Twitter-Wood's collective reactions to her death. You can read a few of them after the jump, where you'll also find a quick update on "The Last Airbender" and Ashton Kutcher's advice to potential iPad buyers.
