"Solitary Man" hits theaters this week, starring Michael Douglas as a car dealer whose life spirals away after he makes some major mistakes in both his personal and business lives. The film features the writing talents of Brian Koppelman (also directing) and David Levien, two guys who got their start in Hollywood more than a decade ago with their script for "Rounders." The poker movie starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton -- and featuring some amazing scenery-chewing acting from John Malkovich -- remains popular among fans and has long been talked about for a sequel. So when MTV's Josh Horowitz sat down to chat with the duo last week about "Solitary Man," he had to squeeze in a question about the status of the follow-up.

"'Rounders 2' is something that we talk about because whenever we see Matt Damon, whenever we see Edward Norton, who we're friends with, we talk about doing it. We've kept in touch with ['Rounders' director] John Dahl," Levien said. "We have this idea that we really want to pick these characters up down the road. So it is something we plan to do, we just don't have it on the calendar yet." Read More...
