Lindsay LohanThe Spider-Man musical punchlines have not yet subsided, and I doubt they will before 2010 ends at this rate. "Break a leg" references and Green Goblin involvement behind the scenes have been the most popular choices today.

Also trending today was Lindsay Lohan after a Betty Ford Center employee accused the actress of battery and was subsequently fired for sharing confidential information with the press. Scope out some reactions after the jump, along with an update on what Russell Brand did with his new 3-D TV.

Howard SternSo who in Twitter-Wood is thankful for Howard Stern sticking it out for another five years with Sirius Radio? Well, John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris and Brent Spiner for starters. Much of our feed breathed a collective sigh of relief this morning when news of Stern's renewed deal broke.

As for Seth Meyers, I don't know how he felt about the Stern announcement, but he was appreciative of Mindy Kaling's congratulatory tweet today after he made headlines as the next White House Correspondents' Association Dinner host. His reaction, along with Greg Mottola on "Superbad 2," Jon Favreau on doing the Soulja Boy dance and David Slade on "Eclipse" await you after the jump

Emma Watson at Harry Potter premiereYou may not be able to attend the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" premiere in London, but a handful of folks in the Twitter-Wood feed received invitations and shared what they were up to en route.

Another traveling tale that showed up today came from David Slade, who happened to see someone watching a pirated version of his movie "Eclipse" on a plane. You can check out how he felt about that after the jump, as well as what Duncan Jones and Edgar Wright had to say about the passing of "Blue Velvet" producer Dino De Laurentiis... and how Jim Gaffigan views Veterans Day.

Star Wars was on a lot of minds in Twitter-Wood today for some reason. Nathan Fillion received a lightsaber as a gift, Seth MacFarlane used George Lucas' universe to express his own perspective on the proposed mosque in Manhattan that's come under fire and Jim Gaffigan contemplated Darth Vader's fashion motives.

In non-Star Wars tweeting, Simon Pegg really dug Cee-Lo's new single, Brent Spiner found himself attending the same event as former Illinois Rod Blagojevich, and Rainn Wilson has suggestions for Wyclef Jean's campaign to to become Haiti's next president. Find out who's sides you're on after the jump, as well as what Jackie Chan's Korean fan artwork looks like.

Justin Bieber shout-outs show up on Twitter more frequently than the Fail Whale, but Marlon Wayans singing the pop star's praises was something a bit out of the ordinary. Apparently the actor's daughter is quite a fan. And speaking of fans willing to do crazy things (you'll understand when you read the tweet), this is Comic-Con week in San Diego. That means the great Twitter-Wood migration is underway to the entertainment industry's epic annual nerd gathering.

You can find out who's en route, as well as why Denise Richards thinks she looks like a porn star, who Helena Mattsson has been hanging out with and what an "Eclipse" actor thought of "Inception."

If you didn't know that a Star Trek movie screenwriter was nominated for a Tony this year, you do now. Brent Spiner pointed out in Twitter-Wood today that "Red" playwright John Logan also wrote the story for "Star Trek: Nemesis." The other big "Star" franchise got some attention too, with numerous posts celebrating Star Wars Day.

Kim Kardashian was happy to hear that a suspect was in custody regarding the attempted Times Square boming in New York, while Tom Hanks was content just to be on his new film's set ten minutes early. Check out all of those tweets after the jump and you'll also find out who works out at Mr. T's gym. That info is part of the all-inclusive retweet package that is Twitter-Wood for May 4, 2010. Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy announced they were splitting yesterday on their Twitter accounts, and while it's never as fun to read the break-up tweets as it is to watch Frankie Muniz hold a funeral for his dead cactus, you have to hand it to the two of them for keeping things classy (in 140 characters or less).

In other more entertaining tweets, Richard Kelly posted that he's pretty sure he witnessed a Transformer guest appearance in "Clash of the Titans." I haven't seen it myself yet, but you can find out if you agree with him after the jump. His thoughts are retweeted along with Jackie Chan's birthday cake, memories of a homeless "iCarly" fan and the hotel David Spade was staying in when he got invited to join "SNL." I present to you Twitter-Wood for April 7th, 2010. Read More...

A minor Twit-pocalypse broke out yesterday when LeVar Burton accidentally posted his phone number to his account. It sounds like he had to get his number changed thanks to all of the incoming calls, but luckily for him, his old "Star Trek: The Next Generation" co-stars Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner were around to lend moral support.

Judging from the Twitter-Wood feed, everyone who wasn't calling LeVar was at the Hollywood Bowl to see Paul McCartney, and a few posted pictures from the event. Click on past the jump and you can see who was there, as well as what Damon Lindelof thought about "Lost" this week, what Tom Hanks looks like during location scouting and what Richard Kelly thinks of the iPad. It's all in Twitter-Wood for March 31st, 2010. Read More...

Not everyone in Twitter-Wood chose to wear green for St. Patrick's Day, but some, like Kat Dennings, had to confront pinch mobs as a direct result of their decisions. Others, like P. Diddy and Kim Kardashian embraced the holiday, wearing green and identifying their Irish heritage.

Jon Favreau, meanwhile, still has a little bit of effects work left to do on "Iron Man 2," and he's still updating his Twitter account right into his last days on the project. You can find out what he's doing, see what Emmy Rossum thought of "Justified" on FX and see pictures that I can only assume include Selena Gomez's bowling team and a popular nickname for Christopher Mintz-Plasse on the "Kick-Ass" set. Android is bringing aboard a public face for Androids everywhere at its Android Lounge at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. CES has been all over the tweets of gadget-conscious Twitter-Wood accounts this week. "Star Trek"'s Brent Spiner didn't sound too thrilled about putting on his Data makeup for the appearance, but both he and "Heroes" actor James Kyson Lee were stoked for the show.

On the subject of movies, Mark Webber got in to his "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" co-star Michael Cera's premiere for "Youth in Revolt" last night, and he had good things to say. Check out those tweets after the jump where you'll also see Jessica Simpson eating hair, a tattoo proposition from Jim Gaffigan and a "Toy Story 3" designer's holiday card. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for January 7, 2010. Read More...
