After years of rumors, scandal, and mockery, Troy Duffy is finally getting his wish. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he has started filming the sequel to 2000's "The Boondock Saints." And he's got his cast: Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus will be returning as the Brothers MacManus, Billy Connelly as Poppa M, along with Bob Marley, Brian Mahoney, David Della Rocca, and David Ferry, who will all be reprising their original roles. (Which is odd, because I am pretty sure at least one of those characters died in the original.)

They'll be joined by new characters played by Clifton Collins and Julie Benz. Says an overjoyed Duffy: "It's a joy and a long time coming to be bringing such an enormously talented group of people back together again." Read more...
