It's one of those silly questions that every candidate has to face on the campaign trail. Who should play you in the movie of your life? Because clearly that should have some bearing on how we vote, right? Sarcasm aside, Barack Obama has gone on record with MTV that the guy to play him is Will Smith. And as I found out a couple days ago, Will Smith is having a laugh about it. He's not ready to sign up as his VP though quite yet. Check it out.

Alright, so if it's Will Smith for Obama, who's your choice to play John McCain? Sound off below!

Katherine McPheeKatharine McPhee will soon be heading to the big-screen in "The House Bunny," her feature film debut. But could the former "American Idol" runner-up already be looking past the summer time, and into singing "Summertime"?

That's the word straight from McPhee herself, who told MTV News that she wants to one day star in a musical biopic of one of rock's greatest songstresses.

"Janis Joplin," she enthused of who she would want to portray in a musical film. "I'm not opposed to movie musicals or anything. I'd have to think about that [if I every got offered]." Read More...

Four decades after Al Pacino's intense commitment to realism gave us the instant cop classic "Serpico," the cinematic superstar is once again preparing to step into the skin of a real-life character.

"I really like that Salvador Dali idea," the gravelly-voiced Pacino said recently when asked about "Dali and I," the biopic currently being prepared by the seven-time Oscar nominee. "I really feel that's a place I would like to get myself around to playing."

The movie will reunite Pacino with his "S1m0ne" co-collaborator, hopefully yielding results more along the lines of "Lord of War" and "Gattaca" than their 2002 virtual-actor dud. "I read Andrew Niccols' script," said the "Godfather" veteran. "It's a terrific script, and I'm hoping one day to do that. That's a role I've been wanting to play for a while, and I think it's coming." Read More...

Actor Bill Pullman is bringing the whirlwind life of visionary science-fiction author Philip K. Dick to the big screen...sort of. The film "Your Name Here" -- previously known as "Panasonic -- will tell the story of an enigmatic writer named "William J. Frick" in the non-libel, unsanctioned biopic of the classic storyteller.

In a role that the "Independence Day" star says is one of his favorite projects, Pullman will portray a slightly modified version of the man whose vast collection of futuristic short stories have fueled such Hollywood adaptations as "Blade Runner," "Total Recall," "Minority Report" and "A Scanner Darkly" (as well as less-than-stellar efforts like "Paycheck" and "Next").

According to Pullman, the film will focus on Frick as he arrives at the end of his life. "It's about a kind of a 'Fantasia' about his last days," he revealed. "You're seeing a writer who's starting to spin a little bit out of control and wondering what's real and what isn't real. Has he really written the most brilliant book that's ever been written or hasn't he? Has someone stolen the last chapter, or is he just insane?"

"Your Name Here" is currently in post-production, with hopes of premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in mid-September.

If you're like me, your memories of childhood soccer games boil down to frustrated teammates and scrambling to get a juicebox between periods. But for others, like the Shue Family (as in Oscar-nominated actress Elisabeth Shue), playing soccer was an important life experience. Enter Picturehouse's "Gracie," which tells the story of a sixteen-year-old girl (inspired by Shue), who, after a family tragedy changed her life, fights for and wins the right for girls everywhere to play competitive soccer.

If this exclusive clip from the film captures your fancy, then catch it in theaters starting June 1.

The madcap tale of T. Rex founder Marc Bolan is coming to the big screen, courtesy of rising Hollywood star Scoot McNairy. The actor, currently headlining the indie film "In Search of a Midnight Kiss," has nabbed the rights to the life story of the 1970's glam rock pioneer who perished in a car crash at age 29.

Audiences will become intimately familiar with the woman behind the wheel of the doomed auto: she was Bolan's girlfriend, Gloria Jones. "The story is told through her eyes of all the recordings that she did that never got put out," McNairy says, also referencing the public controversy that spawned from the white English musician dating the African-American soul singer. "It's a love story with all of the music."

With McNairy sticking to producing duties, a search is now underway for the "perfect guy" to play the eccentric Bolan.
