Olivia WildeRon Howard is a hot commodity in Hollywood right now after his ambitious approach to both the "Arrested Development" film and television series and the failed "The Dark Tower" adaptation. His next movie is the Formula One racing drama "Rush," and it just landed its latest high caliber talent.

Deadline is reporting that Olivia Wilde is the latest actress to join Howard's newest film. She'll play 1970s supermodel Suzy Miller, who ends up falling in love with and marrying main character James Hunt. "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth plays Hunt, and Deadline has learned that Howard hopes to recruit Russell Crowe to the film as well.

It's relatively quiet in Hollywood this morning, as entertainment outlets everywhere prep themselves to read, absorb and comment on the soon-to-be-announced Oscar nominations. There's some news though, including this kickass casting announcement for an upcoming indie crime drama.

Billy Crudup, Alan Arkin and Greg Kinnear are all signed on for "The Convincer," Variety reports. Shooting will commence on February 8 in "the Minneapolis area." The movie comes from director Jill Sprecher, who co-wrote the script with her sister Karen. Read More...

Billy CrudupAs anyone who has seen “Stage Beauty” will remember, Billy Crudup is not above slipping into women’s clothing when his art demands it. So now, with the new trailer for his upcoming flick “Public Enemies” burning up the Internet, we just had to ask: How comprehensive is his portrayal of FBI founder (and supposed cross-dresser) J. Edgar Hoover?

“I won’t be [cross-dressing] – well, not on film,” Crudup said of the flick, which casts him alongside Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.
