Beyonce is pregnant, but what about that other star who's waiting to be born?

The "Single Ladies" singer, who revealed her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, will likely have to delay her work in Clint Eastwood's adaptation of "A Star is Born," Deadline reports. The film was aiming to get underway this winter, but the impending arrival of Beyonce's child throws a wrench into those plans.

The timing could be worse, at least, as Deadline reports that Eastwood's first choice for the male lead, Leonardo DiCaprio, is no longer attached to the project. That gives the director -- and us -- plenty of time to consider replacements. See our list of who should star opposite Beyonce past the jump!

JGLWe reported on it weeks ago, but it was made official yesterday: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotilliard will be joining the cast of "The Dark Knight Rises." And if it wasn't for Twitter, we'd have no idea how meta this casting really was.

According to the James Cameron blockbuster "The Terminator," the artificial intelligence in the Skynet program went live yesterday, which means that our inevitable destruction is just hours away! Since we're all about to die, you might as well read a few predictions for what might be in store for the robot apocalypse.

And a beautiful actress talks about filming love scenes! We won't give it away, but it involves lots and lots of high fives.

I'm @TravisHelwig and this Twitter-Wood for April 20th, 2011.

This past weekend, New York-based journalists had an opportunity to sit down with the various players involved in bringing the Robert Pattinson/Emilie de Ravin-starring "Remember Me" to theaters. One of those people is writer Will Fetters, who was just confirmed last week as the writer for an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' "The Lucky One."

Fetters also confirmed another project that he's working on, in an interview with Cinematical. A remake of the musical "A Star Is Born," which is something that "The Notebook" director Nick Cassavetes was reported as interested in in January. That was true, as was the rumored interest in having Beyonce and Russell Crowe take the film's starring roles. Read More...

You could do a lot worse than having a stalker who looks like Ali Larter, but there's nothing fun about it when you're married. That's the situation Idris Elba (Stringer Bell from "The Wire") is facing when casual office flirtation turns into full-blown crazytown. Beyoncé co-stars as Elba's wife and soon also faces the wraith of Larter.

Check it out in the clip below, and then click here to read our interview with the singing sensation about her latest role in "Obsessed," out in theaters today.

BeyonceThursday night, on a flight from Los Angeles to New York, I settled into my emergency-exit-row seat next to a woman with ginger-colored hair who looked familiar but I couldn't quite place. We talked casually during the flight — I taught her about Google video chat and she told me about her daughter, Caprice Crane, a writer and producer who is working on the new "90210." (I then launched into a rant of how obsessed I am with the original "Beverly Hills, 90210," which I immediately regretted — I can be a little fanatical about that show ...)

Anyway, I finally asked her what she did for a living. She told me that she now works with kids but that she used to be an actor. When I asked what I might have seen her in, she laughed and said that people knew her best from "Gilligan's Island." Ummm ... it took me until we were 36,000 feet over Iowa to realize that I was talking to TINA LOUISE, a.k.a. GINGER from "GILLIGANS ISLAND"!! I basically flipped out (silently), and then offered to share my car service with her back to New York after we landed (after the jump, Tina's reaction to rumors of Beyoncé snagging the movie role!). Any film that has stars like Beyonce, Columbus Short and Mos Def strapping on 1950's duds is gonna be worth checking out, and "Cadillac Records" is no exception. With a huge cast that includes folks like Adrian Brody and Gabrielle Union, "Cadillac Records" chronicles the real-life rise of Chess Records and its founder Leonard Chess.

Beyonce KnowlesThe movie stars Beyonce Knowles (hot) and Ali Larter (also hot), so what should the makers of "Obsessed" put on their posters when the film gets released next year?

"A great movie," said star Idris Elba, adding with a smile. "Even if it has the ugliest cast you’ve ever seen in your life!"

Ok, so he’s kidding about the stars being ugly (duh), but Beyonce and Larter do both get their hands pretty dirty pretty quick, Elba revealed, in a plot that purposively recalls "Fatal Attraction." Without the rabbit stew, unfortunately, but "Fatal Attraction" nonetheless.

"Beyonce and I are a married couple and a temp that works at my office ends up falling in love with me and it all goes crazy," Elba said of the fim’s set-up, which pits the two ladies against each other in chilling love triangle. "It’s a thriller."

BeyonceFor decades, it's been a wedding staple no self-respecting DJ can serenade a bride and groom without. Now, "At Last," Etta James seems to be inspiring a new performance and song that could become just as iconic.

Although details are sketchy on whether Beyonce and Jay-Z danced to the 1961 ballad at their own nuptials earlier this month, the singer/actress has spent her recent non-wedding-planning days portraying James in the upcoming flick "Cadillac Records."

"She did an amazing job in this," insisted her co-star Cedric the Entertainer, cast as blues musician/songwriter/record producer Willie Dixon in the film about the influential American label Chess Records, which launched the careers of everyone from Howlin' Wolf to Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and James.
