They're wrapped up in cozy jackets, knit scarves and most likely covered in remnants of snow, but that hasn't stopped the celebrities at the Sundance Film Festival from taking a seat in MTV's Sundance Photo Booth. Remember when stars used to take self portraits when they stopped by "TRL"? Well we're keeping that tradition alive with a booth set up in Park City.

So many big names have already come through (including Ben Affleck, Malin Akerman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt), but below are two of MTV's personal favorites: "Welcome to the Rileys" and "The Runaways" star Kristen Stewart and "Howl" star James Franco. The booth allowed these two to show off their personality, so check out their full contribution to our virtual scrapbook by clicking on the image to browse through our ever-growing Sundance Photo Booth flipbook.

While he's certainly best known for his roles in front of the camera, Ben Affleck is building quite the career behind the lens as well. In addition to recent starring roles in "State of Play" and "The Company Men," Affleck has also taken a stab at directing with 2007's "Gone Baby Gone" and the upcoming "The Town," which is currently in post-production.

But make no mistake — talented though he may be, Affleck's work as a director is anything but easy. During the Sundance Film Festival, Affleck told MTV News that he has a tendency to get emotional while directing movies. Read more...

Even if you've never attended the Sundance Film Festival, you're likely familiar with the event's basic essentials. It's a place where movie lovers, reporters, filmmakers and stars congregate to celebrate upcoming independent film projects, all set to the lovely backdrop of snow and... luxury lounges?

As a veteran Sundance attendee, "The Company Men" star Ben Affleck was able to break down his general view of the festival during an interview with MTV News, saying that it all boils down to three essential ingredients. Read more...

Even in the hills of Hollywood and the streets of the Sundance Film Festival, there's no escaping the pop culture juggernaut known simply as "Jersey Shore." The cast had their way with Michael Cera and James Franco even expressed his own curiosity in the reality series, leaving us to wonder who else in the acting business might have a soft spot for Snooki and her pals.

While at Sundance this weekend, MTV News spoke with "The Company Men" stars Ben Affleck and Rosemarie DeWitt about "Jersey Shore," a series that both of them admitted to being fascinated by. Read more...

As previously mentioned, given MTV's long lineage with photo booths, we set up our very own here at Sundance where the biggest celebs around are coming through our studio. We already gave you Jon Hamm and Amanda Peet, and now Boston's favorite son Ben Affleck, in town for his new film "The Company Men," is gracing us with his presence (with co-star Rosemarie DeWitt peeking over his shoulder).

Check out his contribution below, and then click here or on the photo to browse the rest of our ever-growing Sundance Photo Booth.

Jon HammJust about every woman alive is in love with Jon Hamm, and I'm certainly no exception to that rule. The wait between "Mad Men" seasons is very long, so it's wonderful to see him getting steady feature film work, developing into a leading man in his own right. But to put Hamm in a romance? Well that's just every woman's dream come true, right?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hamm is set to star alongside Ben Affleck and Rebecca Hall ("Frost/Nixon") in "The Town," a romantic thriller to be directed by Affleck himself. "The Town" is based on Chuck Hogan's novel "Prince of Thieves," but don't look for any Kevin Costner antics here. This isn't Hogan's first time making news in recent months. The vampire book that he co-wrote with "The Hobbit" director Guillermo del Toro hit shelves at the beginning of June, to a positive reception from critics and average Joe/Jane readers alike. Ah, Mike Judge. Thank you for "Beavis & Butthead." And for "Office Space." And for this exclusive clip from your next movie, "Extract." In a sort of reversal on his 1999 abused employee comedy, "Extract" tells the story of an abused factory owner named Joel (Jason Bateman). The dude just can't seem to catch a break: his less-than-competent workers walk all over him and his apparently unfaithful wife does the same.

In this exclusive clip, Joel meets Cindy (Mila Kunis), a new temp at his plant. Is that some chemistry I'm detecting there? Or maybe just some gold-digging? Before we can find out, Joel's entrepreneur/spiritualist pal Dean (Ben Affleck, looking mighty Savior-like) shows up to spoil the fun with his crass comments. Awesome. If you're at San Diego Comic-Con this week, make sure you check out the "Extract" panel on Saturday. MTV's Josh Horowitz will moderate as Judge, Bateman, Kunis and fellow star Kristen Wiig reveal new footage and field questions!

Mike Judge's 'Extract'

I have big news to share for you Mike Judge fans out there. The man who gave us "Office Space" will be sitting down with MTV's Josh Horowitz at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25. Judge's next project "Extract" will be the topic of the day, and he will be joined by stars Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis and Kristen Wiig. Judge will be screening exclusive footage from the upcoming film as part of the panel.

Those of you who won't be making the trip to San Diego can take heart, as MTV.com will premiere exclusive "Extract" footage to coincide with the Comic-Con panel. Expect plenty of laughs at the panel though. Judge, in a recent interview with MTV, expects "a lot of smart ass answers from the actors. [The 'Extract' cast and crew is] a happy bunch. We all really had fun making this. It came together nicely." Read more...

When Kevin Smith stopped by the MTV News offices recently and we asked if he had any advice for upcoming Movie Awards host Andy Samberg, I was thinking Smith would say something along the lines of, “Dude, remember to brush your teeth!”

See, back in 1999 Smith and buddy Ben Affleck took to the Movie Awards stage to present the Golden Popcorn statue for Best New Filmmaker to “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels” director Guy Ritchie. And, well, one thing led to another, and suddenly Smith and Affleck were making out on stage until Affleck broke the embrace and announced that Smith needed to work on his oral hygiene.

A decade later, Kevin has only fond memories of his time playing kissy face with Ben on national TV. Check out the video below to see the real advice the director has for Samberg before the Movie Awards show (this Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. ET), including the possibility of the “SNL” funnyman flashing a nipple and marrying "Motherlover" digital short co-star Justin Timberlake.

'Daredevil'FROM SPLASH PAGE: Once upon a time, Ben Affleck was thrilled to play Daredevil, one of Marvel’s most complex superheroes. These days, the newly-rebirthed star of the political drama “State of Play” isn’t so eager to discuss his days spent in red latex.

“Uh, no,” he replied recently, shifting his energetic tempo to a methodical, disapproving downbeat when I mentioned the “D” word.
