The raunchy comedy “Bad Teacher” opens today in theaters, reuniting former Hollywood power couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake. Unlike their first meeting at the 2003 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards (the two began dating shortly thereafter), sparks decidedly aren’t flying between Diaz and Timberlake in the film – at least as far as we can tell from the red band trailer.

Diaz plays Elizabeth Halsey – an unorthodox junior high teacher who clearly cares less about the education of her students than she does about wooing Scott Delacort (Timberlake), the wealthy new substitute at her school. She takes a new interest in academic achievement, though, when she finds out there’s a cash prize in it for her if her class outperforms that of a rival teacher (played by the hilarious Lucy Punch), all the while spurning the advances of lovable gym teacher Russell Gettis (Jason Segel).

Halsey’s abysmal practices – which include pummeling her students with dodgeballs and smoking pot in the school parking lot – got us thinking: have real-life teachers worked with similarly inappropriate colleagues? As it turns out: there are plenty of bad teachers among us – check out what they had to say!

For any of those Justin Timberlake skeptics that are still left out there (in which case...hide your shame!) his performance in the upcoming and very R-rated comedy "Bad Teacher" is about to prove them wrong. In fact, no one is more certain of his talents than his co-star in the film (and his ex) Cameron Diaz.

During a chat with MTV News, Diaz, who joked she'd seen Timberlake's work prior to this movie, said of the singer-turned-actor's versatility, "I don't think Justin Timberlake is a hidden treasure of comedy any longer. I think he sort of burst that bubble a long time ago on 'SNL.'"

Bad TeacherIs Cameron Diaz the new Billy Bob Thornton? From the looks of things in the just-released red band trailer for the upcoming comedy "Bad Teacher," Diaz has taken a cue from Thornton's seriously dark comedy classic "Bad Santa" by putting a foul-mouthed adult around impressionable youth.

"Bad Teacher," due in theaters on June 24, is about a disgruntled teacher/arguable sociopath named Elizabeth (Diaz) who, while not smoking "medicinal" marijuana in the parking lot, passing off the advances of the school's gym teacher (Jason Segel) and grading papers ("Are you f***ing kidding me?" she writes on a student's exam), sets her sights on finding a man to take care of her.

Enter Justin Timberlake, who plays Scott, the new sub Diaz intends on nabbing for herself. After discovering Scott has a penchant for, er, top heavy females, Elizabeth aims to win a bonus for having the highest-scoring class in order to pay for breast implants. The ridiculously unsafe for work trailer is past the jump!

Ensemble comedies are awesome. Especially when they boast a cast like the one coming together for "Bad Teacher." The comedy comes from "Walk Hard" director Jake Kasdan working off of a script from the powerhouse "Office" (and "Ghostbusters III") writing duo of Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. We also know that Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel and Lucy Punch, star of CBS' "The Class," will headline.

Today, Sony revealed that a few more have joined the cast. Justin Timberlake, who will also star in Facebook biopic "The Social Network," is the big get; he'll star alongside Diaz, Segel and Punch. Also joining the cast are "Saturday Night Live" alum Molly Shannon and "Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet. Read More...

Cameron Diaz can do sweet romantic comedies like "The Holiday" and tearjerker dramas like "My Sister's Keeper" and even the occasional period piece like "Gangs of New York," but her true calling has always been raunchy comedy. Now, to add to her gross-out work in "There's Something About Mary" and "The Sweetest Thing," the actress will star in Columbia Pictures' "Bad Teacher," according to Variety.

Jake Kasdan, who last gave us "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," is directing the comedy, about a "foulmouthed, gold-digging middle-school teacher," who battles with another faculty member for dibs on a hot co-worker. The idea of a fought-over "model teacher" makes me imagine "Glee" star Matthew Morrison as the male lead, but that will never happen. Read More...
