Once you've got a logo you HAVE to make the film, right? If you're going to go with that horrible logic then it's been set in stone, get ready for a whole lotta Marvel films the next three years. Once again I stumbled onto this cool little image at New York's Licensing Expo (who knew something with such a boring name could yield such interesting things?). I wouldn't call the below a poster or anything that will resemble a final title treatment for any of the below. Hell, one or two of these films may never even happen. But it's still fun to look at and ponder the superhero goodness to come, no?

So which one of Marvel's busy upcoming film slate has you excited? Which one's got you worried? Sound off below.
"Iron Man 2," "The Avengers," "Captain America," and "Thor." It'd be hard to pack more awesome in Marvel's upcoming slate than is already there, especially now that they own their own properties and can cross mingle their franchises.
But what of the titles that aren't there? Films like "Magneto," "Spider-Man 4," and "Ghost Rider 2." Are they still in the pipeline?
The simple answer, of course, is that Marvel doesn't own the rights to those films, and that they are going ahead as previously scheduled with other studios.
Or not. Read more...

"Avengers Assemble!" Marvel's mightiest team join forces to fight foes no single superhero can withstand. But if Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, and Ant-Man thought Count Nefaria or the Krees were formidable – wait'll they get a load of the Countless Nerds and the Geeks, who will dissect every announcement and decision from the film like it was the word of God.
Bring 'em on, says "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau, who, not only thinks that "The Avengers" is "a great idea," but even told MTV News that he might like to direct it. Read more...

With casting of the "Justice League of America" movie well underway, one of the biggest resulting questions is whether the Avengers, Marvel's equivalent to the JLA, will ever see their own cinematic chances realized.
To get an opinion directly from the source, we sought out Joe Quesada, Marvel's editor-in-chief, to get his take on the legendary superteam and what he thinks the chances are of getting them assembled on the big screen.
"Strictly speaking as a fan, who wouldn't want to see [an Avengers movie]," Quesada enthused, adding that for his money, "who wouldn’t want to see just two of the characters teaming up...like a Spider-Man/Wolverine movie," before placing the caveat that the chances of that happening would be "pretty astronomical."
But with the company controlling more of its own characters under the Marvel Studios label than it ever has before, an Avengers film is arguably more likely than a two-character team-up. And while Quesada wouldn't shed any detailed insight into the likelihood of it happening, he did offer up his own dream roster for an Avengers big-budget flick. Read more...

As Favreau states to MTV News, however, Marvel's plan of reclaiming control of their various superhero characters is opening the door to a motion picture that brings together multiple franchises. Hear him describe it first-hand below.
