Spider-Man MusicalWorld AIDS Day didn't escape Russell Brand's attention today, and although he didn't sign off of Twitter to show his support, he did offer some advice to his followers.

In other tweets, David Slade dismayed over the technical problems that plagued the Spider-Man musical in New York, though he didn't sound all that broken up over what the show's fate might mean for a Hulk musical down the road. Check out his perspective after the jump, where you'll also find David Spade's reactions to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Tom Felton's recent golf excursion and a height comparison between Autumn Reeser and Magic Johnson.

Wyclef Jean already has at least one vocal backer for his run for President in Haiti, thanks to Ice-T. Conan O'Brien may be on board, too, but he's got some high standards. Miranda Cosgrove, meanwhile, won't be running for head of state anytime soon, but she is up for a Teen Choice Award for "iCarly," and tweeted the results of her dress search.

Find out how that went after the jump, where you'll also find out how Neil Patrick Harris feels about Prop 8 being overturned and see shots of Edward Norton surfing, Autumn Reeser hanging out a Dodgers game and Dave Coulier rubbing elbows with Sarah Silverman.

The latest trailers for "Eclipse" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" have given several faces in Twitter-Wood something to post about this week. Apparently even those who were on set for the newest "Twilight" film can still be made to scream when they see their work in motion.

David Slade and James Urbaniak, meanwhile, have been keeping tabs on the new "Smurfs" film, and they both seem to have some concerns. You can find out what those are after the jump alongside reactions from the "Entourage" Season 7 premiere and a Lakers jersey blessing sighting.

Vuvuzelas and Nintendo's 3DS are raking in the comments on Twitter right now, and as with most things, some people are fans and some are not. Stephen Colbert chose an anti-3DS stance last night in one of his posts, whereas Russell Brand happens to be a fan of those horn noises at the World Cup.

I think it's safe to say that most of Twitter-Wood's citizens are fans of "Entourage." I'm personally a fan of the great photography the show has been able to generate for the column here. Lenny Kravitz happens to be the star today, and hopefully by the time this goes live Autumn Reeser will have decided on what to wear for the show's Season 7 premiere.

These hot issues and more appear in Twitter-Wood for June 16, 2010. Read More...

Lee DeWyze fans left "American Idol" in high spirits when he took hope home top honors last night, as Crystal Bowersox's supporters didn't quite give her the push she needed to win. Michael McKean had some advice for her, though. Meanwhile, David Spade thought the evening watched like an episode of "Glee."

Elsewhere, the BP oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico continues to glug, and both James Urbaniak and Sandra Bernhard had perspectives to offer. Decide who you agree with after the jump, where you'll also see who calls Ken Jeong her son and who may be taking yoga classes with Jessica Biel.

Jon Favreau evidently keeps great cookies around at the "Cowboys and Aliens" rehearsal room. That's what Olivia Wilde tweeted, anyhow, and she's hoping they don't impact her ability to put on the super-tight costumes used in "Tron Legacy."

Elsewhere, MTV Movie Award nominations have been released, and both Tom Felton and Ken Jeong were tweetably enthused to be on the ballots. They were just as thankful as David Lynch's friend surely was to have received a handcrafted box from the "Mulholland Dr." director. Click on past the jump to see what it looks like and find out what Autumn Reeser thought of Casey James "Mrs. Robinson" performance on "American Idol." The battle to overtake Justin Bieber in Twitter's trending topics rankings gained two determined competitors with the new "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" trailer and John Cusack's relentless support of "Hot Tub Time Machine." Both films got some face time with Twitter, but Bieber has thus far stayed the course.

In other tweets, Jessica Simpson and Fred Durst mourned the loss of famed rock photographer Jim Marshall, and Simpson posted some shots of his work that she's collected over the years. See for yourself below, where you can also find out about a runaway monkey in Florida, see who else has been trying out Chatroulette and read Aziz Ansari's thoughts on Chris Evans as Captain America. It's all in Twitter-Wood for March 25th, 2010. Read More...

Autumn ReeserAutumn Reeser believes in love. In both her new show “Valentine,” premiering on the CW Sunday (October 5), and in her new movie “Possessions,” the former "OC" actress is trying to make true love happen at all costs – for her character in “Possessions,” and for everyone but herself in “Valentine.”

“I play Phoebe, who is the Goddess of the Oracle at Delphi, in ‘Valentine,’” Reeser said. “She helps everybody pinpoint who their soul mates are, so the rest of the gods can all go out and bring them together. She’s like a flower child, and she loves the idea of being in love. She thinks it looks wonderful.”

Well, except when it’s unrequited or ignored. In “Possessions,” her character Jessica’s true love is the ex-girlfriend of the lead character, Orlando (played by Trent Ford), whose body is slowly becoming possessed by a voice in his head named Jean-Luc. Read More...
