FROM MTV.COM: In 2007, Jamie Campbell Bower co-starred in Tim Burton's "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." A few years later, after being cast as a vampire in "New Moon," the young British actor has not forgotten the director who gave him his big break, telling MTV News that Burton would be the ideal man to helm the final "Twilight" installment, "Breaking Dawn."
What does Burton think about that idea? When we caught up with the director at the opening of a retrospective of his work at New York's Museum of Modern Art, he was flattered.

FROM MTV.COM: In early 2008, then-little-known actors including Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner traveled to Portland to shoot a small vampire film that they hoped would get a theatrical release. Barely two years later, "Twilight" is one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood, with two Vancouver-filmed sequels rolling into theaters. Now, Pattinson is revealing plans to return to the city where it all began — and recommending the Portland-based Oscar nominee he wants to direct "Breaking Dawn."
"I probably shouldn't say this," Rob revealed to MTV News over the weekend, acknowledging that the wheels are slowly creeping into motion on "Breaking Dawn" getting made. "But I've heard that we're going to shoot it in Portland.

"Eclipse" actress Jodelle Ferland claims that hackers descended on her website, which would explain the disarray currently on display if you visit Jodelle-Ferland.net. Her "Twilight" series costar Ashley Greene seemed to be having a much better weekend, however, taking in the U2 concert at the Rose Bowl Sunday night. Greene was joined by Danny DeVito, Demi Moore, and a host of others who tweeted pictures from the night.
Elsewhere, Tom Felton and Emmy Rossum are still undecided on their Halloween costumes, but Felton has officially nixed a Dalmation outfit and Rossum may be warming up to Pippi Longstocking. Check out what they had to say after the jump along with Edward Norton doing yoga, Billy Burke's "Harry Potter" shout-out and Stephen Fry's new secret video game role. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for October 26, 2009. Read more...
FROM MTV.COM: The tabloid covers may be dominated by Rob and Kristen, but in the hearts and minds of "Twilight" fans, there is no cover girl as dazzling as so-sweet-she'll-give-you-a-cavity series star Ashley Greene.
With "New Moon" less than a month away (hooray!), and Alice Cullen's screen time substantially increased, we caught up with the actress and occasional MTV News correspondent to get her latest thoughts on stealing expensive cars, playing board games with Kellan Lutz, and the "New Moon" cast's shared love of ... kittens?

There was a lot to catch up on in Twitter-Wood today after my long weekend, including the 40th anniversary of Monty Python's first appearance on television, which member John Cleese and fan Edgar Wright both noted. Elsewhere, Edward Norton and Danny Masterson had good things to tweet about Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke's live solo performance, and Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale joined Paris Hilton among those tweeting their Halloween costume plans for 2009.
There is loads more to check out, though, believe it or not, as James Gunn tweeted a pic of himself offering juice to a horse that may belong to Rainn Wilson and Jeremy Piven posted a behind-the-scene shot of Matt Damon from "Entourage." I can't even summarize it all today, I retweeted so many people. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter-Wood report for October 5, 2009. Read more...

FROM MTV.COM: If Ashley Greene, Taylor Lautner and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg can spill anything about what fans can expect from "Eclipse," it's that they can expect it to be dark and gory. And for fans of director David Slade, not to mention people who've read "Eclipse," this should be completely unsurprising.
"David has a darker sensibility, so it clicks," Rosenberg told E! Online. "The story has a slightly darker tone. I mean, it goes into a full-out battle, so it is darker in the nature of what it is. David was the perfect director for it."
