Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to interview some very funny people, many of whom (Sandler, Ferrell, Jack Black) we'll see Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards. But I can honestly say it's been a long time since anyone has made me laugh so hard as All-American Rejects singer Tyson Ritter.

"I did this hike for the first time like a month ago," the affable rock star grinned. "And I coughed up a f---ing lung."

The concept was simple: We'd meet Ritter at L.A.'s Runyon Canyon, a beautiful hiking area where Hollywood's best-looking people go to stay in shape and get each other's phone numbers. The 24-year-old is making his acting debut in the August flick "The House Bunny" (watch an exclusive clip from "The House Bunny" here), and what better way to get in movie-star shape than to take his dog for a healthy hike? Yesterday we brought you an exclusive clip from the upcoming comedy "The House Bunny," which finds Anna Faris as a Playboy bunny booted from the mansion and forced to take up residence as House Mother for a local sorority. This week as part of our lead-up to the MTV Movie Awards on June 1st, we followed Faris and co-stars Emma Stone and Katharine McPhee to a local nail salon where the girls acted their most adorable and funny and cute. Yes, we love them. Watch the video below to see why.

In "The House Bunny," Anna Faris plays a Playboy Playmate who's tossed out of Hugh's mansion because she's hit the age ceiling (at a spry mid-twenties). With nowhere to go, she snags a gig as house mother for a local sorority where she proceeds to empower her female flock to become cool and hip and happening.

In the clip below, watch her in action along with co-star Emma Stone ("Superbad"), and then catch the film in theaters on August 22. And don't forget to tune in at 7:30pm EST on Sunday, June 1 to see the girls (which includes Katharine McPhee) walk the MTV Movie Awards red carpet.

We've written a lot here at MTV News about "Smiley Face," the Anna Faris stoner comedy, specifically about how the laugh-out-loud Sundance fave was bypassed for a theatrical release. Our Larry Carroll even claimed it as one of his favorite films at last year's festival. But alas, it went straight to DVD, meaning as of January 8th you can enjoy it in the comfort of your parent's basement. In the clip below, Anna Faris' character embarks on a wild adventure after unknowingly digesting her roommate's drug-laced cupcakes.

"I Know What Boys Like" costar and All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter takes the MTV News mic and interviews star/producer Anna Faris and others on the set of the 2008 girl-powered comedy. Watch the amusing result in the video below, and then click here to read our dispatch from the film's set.

She's best known as the star of the "Scary Movie" franchise, but Anna Faris will soon be seen wading back into the waters of her talent-less pop star from the underrated flick "Just Friends" - only this time, she'll be remixed as a corporation-hating coffeehouse singer in the upcoming film "Mama's Boy." Once again, the funnylady will be belting out some seriously silly songs - but don't expect a Greatest Hits album anytime soon.

"Oh, wouldn't that be awful!" she shrieked when we caught up with her recently. "The only person that would play it would be my dad!" Read more...

For every guy who longed to see Anna Faris donning pajamas on the big screen, it's the biggest let-down of the year. Then again, it's also a disappointment for movie fans in general, as what ended up being one of Sundance's funniest films now winds up going straight-to-DVD. We broke the news yesterday about the aborted theater run (see "'Smiley Face' Turns Into A Frown"); below, watch our video interview with Faris and co-star Adam Brody discussing the project at the indie festival earlier this year.

Well, we were the first ones to report the most recent name for the currently filming, funny-sounding Anna Faris movie, so let's try this one more time.

The "Scary Movie" actress is hard at work on what is now called "I Know What Boys Like," formerly known as "House Bunny." Produced by Adam Sandler and his Happy Madison production team, the film co-stars Katharine McPhee, Emma Stone and Colin Hanks.

Faris stars in the film as Shelley, a Hugh Hefner bunny who gets tossed out of the fabled Playboy mansion and ends up getting a job as a house mother to the lamest sorority on a nearby college campus. Now leading the Zeta Alpha Zeta chicks, Shelley must help the seven socially inept gals from losing their house. In true "Legally Blonde" fashion (the script is written by "Blonde" masterminds Karen McCullah Lutz & Kirsten Smith), Shelley uses her eternally bubbly attitude to hatch a plan that could save the day while simultaneously teaching each of them about the importance of being true to oneself.
